David Archeleta’s Official website announces the premiere of the video for his new single ‘Something ‘Bout Love”

After hearing the song, checking out the behind the scenes photos, and seeing the single cover, its finally time for the video! Tomorrow, on David’s VEVO Channel, you can watch the world premiere of his new video for “Something ‘Bout Love”.     Pretty impressive how quickly Jive has been able to get this video out. The song has only been on iTunes for a couple of weeks. Hopefully the release of the video and the adds on Top 40 will push this song up the charts.

    Exciting news!!!!!!!!!!! can’t wait! Hopefully it will be put up for sale and we will see more promotion for the song. Radio stations are adding the song and hopefully we will see more sales. Happy to see that David will be performing@ 9 or 10 events in the next two months. He has been finishing songs and doing interviews which hope to see soon. He has sure accomplished a lot in the last few years. Proud of David!!

    Hope Archie is soon doing same for Cook. Looking forward to the new releases from both Davids (whenever that may be in the case of Cook).

    ETA: Clarification: Hope Cook also has an announcement soon that Archie, his loyal pal, will surely re-tweet. :)

    Yes, I know that, I follow the two Davids pretty closely. I guess the wording of my post was confusing. What I meant was I hope that there is also Cook news, sooner rather than later, that Archie will be sure to re-tweet. For those who follow Cook, there’s a lot of uncertainty about when Cook’s new single and album are coming out.

    But this thread is about David A., and tomorrow is his big day! :)

    Yay! can’t wait. I love both Archie and Cook. Season 7 was one of the best seasons of Idol.

    Well, it takes place on Coney Island, I believe. Skateboarding and dancing has been mentioned. David said it would be “fun”..they were casting a “beautiful and ambiguous girl” about his age, IIRC. So yeah. Just alot of vagueness (if that’s a word). An extra in the video emailed this to me:

    Sooo many scenes in the video, people playing basketball, skateboarding, then the party scene in an alley with sparklers and dancing and lights, it was really pretty, yet such a hot night in la.

    I’m excited to see how this turns out, and I’m really glad that it’s premiering this quickly. Now if his management could do a few other things this quickly…

    Yes!! So excited to see this! It sounds like it will be very fun. Every time I hear the song, it makes me want to dance, and that is how the video sounds as well!!

    I totally agree. The promo for this song has been pretty slow so I was shocked at how quickly this video got done. It seemed like less than a month ago they were casting for it. The promo does definitely appear to be picking up though with the several concerts for radio stations. Maybe Jive did have a plan all along :)
