David Archuleta Update: ICarly, Teens For Jeans and Florida Radio Tour – VIDEO

David Archuleta kicks off “Crush Night” with Miranda Cosgrove on the Nickelodeon channel, February 7.

He guest stars with Miranda on her show ICarly at 8pm, and then he and Miranda will introduce the rest of the night’s programming. David will also perform his hit single “Crush.”

On February 15, Nickelodeon will air an encore of “Crush Night” that features David singing his new single, “A Little Too Not Over You.”

This week, David did a little radio station mini-tour in Florida, promoting his single, “A Little Too Not Over You” check him out singing Jason Mraz’s “I’m Yours” HERE and his hilarious reaction as he listens to himself sing HERE. The Palm Beach Post covered his appearance in Palm Beach HERE.

Gossip Girl’s Chace Crawford, American Idol Superstar David Archuleta, New York I Love You’s Eva Amurri, The Secret Life of the American Teenager’s Shailene Woodley and TRL’s Damien Fahey joins Aeropostale and teen not-for-profit DoSomething.org’s Teens for Jeans campaign raising awareness on the growing number of homeless teens in the United States and Canada by empowering teens nationwide to collect jeans for homeless youth.

David embarks a nationwide tour, starting on February 24th in Virginia Beach, VA.

On Sunday, he’ll sing the National Anthem at the NFL Pro Bowl in Hawaii.

    Did anyone else notice the UFO during David’s performance at the Palm Beach venue? Check it out HERE. Click on the 3rd video, the one where he’s singing ALTNOY. It shows up in the sky at 00:14 through 00:17 just to the right of David’s forehead. View it in full screen for a better look. It seemed to be moving a little too fast to be a plane, imo. And it didn’t really seem shaped like one either.

    BTW, that was a beautiful ALTNOY!

    Hahah (as Archie might say)… those are a couple of funny videos at that Florida radio station. He’s such a genuine kid.

    And for the record, I think he did all right by Jason Mraz.

    And, yeah RemusL, he did great considering the game the DJs were playing. I’m not sure if you caught the whole interview but they were playing Headphone Karaoke. The 3 DJ’s also played the game. One did Kiss, another Stevie Wonder and the girl did Christina Aguilera. David went last. They pick a song, print out the lyrics, and then they have to wear the headphones with the music blasting so loud they can’t hear themselves. He didn’t know about that part until right before they played the game, after he had agreed to do it. And then he got really, really nervous about it. He couldn’t even hear if he was on key or on pitch…nothing.

    The part where the DJ said “he’s done” was because they had a 1 minute time requirement. But he couldn’t hear them and kept going. I loved how the female DJ shushed the other DJ so David would keep going. haha! And it was morning and David mentioned a couple of times he had his morning frog voice and he hadn’t even warmed up. He tried to…briefly…when he found out he was actually gonna have to sing…but he gave up after one of his cute little lip roll thingies. haha! So, yeah, he was amazing.

    From KGMB9 News:
    David Archuleta from American Idol fame will be at the FREE NFL Ohana Day this Saturday at Aloha Stadium during the Pro Bowl Players only Open Practice. David will also sing the National Anthem prior to Pro Bowl.

    FOD is reporting that David will be at Ohana Day on Saturday, Feb. 7. The event is from 9 to 12 pm (noon) at Aloha Stadium and it’s FREEEEEEEEE. It isn’t confirmed what exactly David is doing there, but it is speculated that he will sign autographs and maybe take pics.

    KISS 95.1 has put up a high quality video of David’s visit on their website. Not only did he sing and rap to Rihanna’s song “Live Your Life,” but he also did a little hiphopping to “You Turn Me Round.”

    When David was rapping to “Live Your Life” he stopped himself for a moment when he came to part of the lyrics. Apparently, there was an offensive word in there. I looked up the lyrics to find out what he and the DJ were talking about and I saw that it was a racial slur. It was the “N” word. He eventually continued rapping but skipped that part. I’m so proud that we can count on David to always do the right thing. He’s such a good boy!

    He had a lot of cute things to say about each song. Here are some teasers. It’s best to just listen to it.

    That was Lady Gaga with “Just Dance” on Kiss 95.1. I actually got to do a bunch of shows with her a couple of months ago and she was actually a real cool girl. She wore these really crazy costumes with all these like spikes coming out of her shoulders. So every time I’d lean in for a hug I always get liked poked in the face or eye with them. So, haha, other than that it was always good to talk to her. But, ah, she’s a real cool, like different person. And I love that song.

    The next song was “Green Light.” I think David was singing along for the last portion of that song at “ready to go right now.” Haha! Then he continued on with his deejaying…

    Hey it’s David Archuleta here on KISS 95.1. That was John Legend with “Green Light.” You know I’m always singing that song everytime I got a green light it seems. It’s kind of a fun song to jam out in the car. You know, especially with all the green lights on the streets, I guess. I don’t know, haha! But it’s a good song. It’s a really fun one to jam out to.

    Up next we have some Kanye West coming. And, a funny story with him. I had to do a show with him in Madison Square Garden with Lady Gaga and Brandy and all of them. And Kanye had all these pyros and lights and a crazy show. And lucky me, I had to go after him. Haha! I was like, ‘Oh joy! Here comes this little white kid coming after Kanye West, haha, with that show and here I am singing my, you know, pop stuff. But you know I had such a great time. And even though I felt so intimidated, he put on an awesome show and I loved watching him. So here’s Kanye West with “Heartless.”

    KISS 95.1′s ratings must have gone through the roof during Archie’s segment.

    Thank you for pointing that out, Abbysee. That’s something I admire about David as well. He never has anything negative to say about anybody or anything it seems.

    I just rewatched that KISS 95.1 video. There’s a funny part at around 8:01 during the meet and greet. One of the girls getting her picture taken with David says to him, “I’m your future wife, in case you’re wondering.”

    David responded with, “Thanks for the heads up.” ROFL!!
