David Archuleta to Ride the Starship Discovery Float in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade

David Archuleta will be a part of the the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade on Thursday, and I’m hearing he’ll be riding on the Starship Discovery Float, which is sponsored by Greendog, a children’s clothes company.

Last year, High School Musical’s Corbin Bleu, and the members of the PBS show Fetch! rode on the float, which featured a giant telescope, solar system, space mission control and science labs…

    There’s nothing remotely cool about the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, but that’s the charm of it.

    Hope he has fun lip syncing while dazed-looking, waving children surround him. lol.

    I find it incredibly amusing that he’s about to turn 18 in a month and he’s on a kid’s clothes-sponsored float. Then I laugh myself silly when I remember that Cook is going to be in Disney World for the Idol “ride.”

    Frogcooke- I love how he finds joy in everything – those cute laughs when he sees the balloons….. and David seems quite content with his current lot in life. :)

    Congrats. on being able to ride the float in the parade, but does anyone else wish that he could just be home with his family on Thanksgiving? As a mother, that would be what I’d want for my son.

    Archie is such a good kid, he is wholesome and you can’t help but love him.

    He is living his dream right now and I wish him the best of luck.
