I bought my CD today. It’s a good set of songs, although I really really really hate the clapping, the whistling, the whatever-the-fuck they added to the songs. I think that without that, Barriers (and Running) are probably the best in the lot — add in Crush too. It’s a very pleasant CD to drive to…and that’s a major compliment since I hate driving/traffic, and I get cranky.

Caffeind I remember looking forward to what you had to say. I remember feeling like you and I were (and a few others) voices crying out in the wilderness. It was hard being a fan of Archie during that time. Today is such a great day because I am able to share this with so many who finally see his potential. I am just stoked by what the future holds.

Rolling Stone gives "David Archuleta" the same short 2 1/2 star review it gives to most Idol debuts. (Except Daughtry, he got 2 stars and they called him a cheeseball!)

Caffiend, I hear you! I wasnt into David A at all and have just come around lately. I never said anything mean (I dont think I did?) I just wasnt interested and now I am and am glad that I opened my mind and my ears to the little guy. I just hope that you one day will come around to enjoy Jason as much as I, I first of all, hope that Jason brings what I know he has in him to us soon and does it well.

I’m late to the party, too; just wanted to check in and say GO DAVID!!! So excited for him! Trying to imagine what he and his family must be feeling today – just awesome. Well done and well deserved.

Have you guys checked full version of Waiting For Yesterday? It’s on youtube. After 30 seconds snippet, I must admit, it was my least favourite song on the album. Now, if anoyone still thinks the same just give it a try and you’ll change your mind, I promise. I decision was mine Waiting For Yesterday, Works for Me and Falling would end up on regular version of the album.

Ãƒ ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã…â€œWorks for MeÃƒ ¢Ã¢â€š ¬ is a very good song. It doesnÃƒ ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢t quite fit with the vibe of the album, but neither does YEDL really. I agree with Jeff, that would have been a perfect trade.

Maybe, but YEDL,is getting a lot of noise, even it is not a single yet…

The good thing is that ArchieÃƒ ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢s future looks bright. The best songs Ãƒ ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã…â€œWorks for MeÃƒ ¢Ã¢â€š ¬ and Ãƒ ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã…â€œDonÃƒ ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢t Let GoÃƒ ¢Ã¢â€š ¬ are co-written by David. Ãƒ ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã…â€œFallingÃƒ ¢Ã¢â€š ¬ is a solid effort too. ItÃƒ ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢s easy to imagine how David might progress in the future.

Yeah , I hope we can hear more of his writing in the future…
