David Archuleta is in Chennai, India this weekend to help Rising Star Outreach celebrate World Leprosy Day (Jan. 31)

After the jump, David performs at the Rising Star Outreach charity event. He talks to the crowed, and then performs “Angels” and “Crush”

    The videos were submitted by a fan who lives in India and attended the benifit! (Guess she didn’t know David was keeping the trip on the down low ha!)..and we are glad she didn’t know. He will document his experience when he gets back. I’m sure Rising Star Outreach and Angels for a Cause will be telling him how much his fans have done to support the cause there. I think he will be amazed when he sees The Pathway of Hope.

    So unexpected to get these videos, not only were there fans from India, I read a tweet that there were fans from Singapore, he was very surprised. He’s made the paper in India, so it has been receiving media attention which in turn has people from all over the world supporting Rising Star Outreach through Angels For A Cause supported by David fans.

    Very proud of him and his fans!!!

    Hey everyone, checking in again from India. Been getting a better understanding about leprosy and going to some of the leprosy colonies to get a sense of how it affects the lives of those who’ve been kicked out of their communities because of carrying it.
