This is indeed a great tragedy and we could use and appreciate all the aid we can get. To the folks who were concerned/asked about me, thank you. The first floor of our house (where we actually stay) was submerged and almost everything got soaked in floodwater but I and my family are safe...when the water was already neck-deep, we stopped trying to save stuff and went up to the detached second floor of our house. It was a scary, uncomfortable day and night for us, but we certainly didn't have it as bad as the others did, for which we are grateful (and a little bit guilty). We just hope that this new super (Category 4 to 5) typhoon (Pepeng) that is said to be also upon us changes its course to where it cannot hurt anyone. (Archie is a good kid. Bless his heart.) I've read many inspirational stories on this journey and so hope this benifit concert will added to that journey. I'm thinking postive that this charity will lift the pain of those suffering.
