One thing I’ve always known about Archie is that he does have soul. His voice is very distinctive and you instantly know it’s him when he is singing. If you listen to the Top 8 recording of Shout To The Lord for example, his voice definitely stands out.

David was truly amazing!! Rumor has it that a DVD of this Osmond concert will be offered for sale. Proceeds from the concert and the DVD will be used to benefit the MORE Project, a charity that helps impoverished children in Brazil.

ETA2: Yeah, 5’7″ is actually about average height for a man. (The average is between 5’7″ to 5’10″ depending on which source you look at.) The Osmonds just happen to be really tall.

Archie is more like around 5ft 6in and a half, lol, and Cookie looks like he is around 5ft 10in to me. He is just a little taller than Ellen and she isn’t that tall right? Yeah the Osmond boys all look like they are all over 6 ft tall, those dang giants (hawt though) . Of course they are going to make money off of Archie, lol. So if it is for a good cause then great. Jive needs to call Prince so he can ship Archie some platform shoes or something, j/k. I love Archie just as he is haha. I like hearing him sing X-MAS songs. You go boy!

LOL, Duke. It’s pretty funny, and cool, watching Lil D up there singing with a family of singers, all guys, all taller. You can hear exactly when he starts singing and you can sort of feel everyone in the room go, “YOWZA! Holy Night indeed!!”

Websites for Ellen list her height as everything between 5’6 1/2 and 5’7 1/2. The IMDb lists David Cook’s height at 6 ft. ( that’s the only official listing I could find). I am thinking I have seen other references to him being 5’11. The IMDb lists Archie as being 5’7 but I am sure you Archie fans knew that already. Listings for the members of the Osmond 2nd Generation have them ranging between 5’11 and 6’4 inches tall. (Donny Osmond is 5’9).

The two undoubtedly stole the show of the American Idols Live Tour, as most critics and spectators alike knew they would. Impressive! Season 8 has got a high benchmark to hurdle.

Season 7 was just one of those that will go down in history as one of the best, if not, the best group of final 10 contestants. I can’t even imagine any future season or seasons measuring up honestly. The only thing that would’ve made Season 7 better is better theme weeks and more song choices made available. Word is that Archie went through six different song choices for his personal choice on Finale night before having to settle on a reprise of Imagine. Producer veto and copyright clearance made it nearly impossible for him to sing anything else of his choice. Supposedly, copyright clearance was a huge problem for him throughout the whole season. I really wonder what he would’ve sang some weeks had he gotten the choices he wanted. And the fact that they made him sing that dreadful song Longer straight on Top 3 night instead of the way he wanted to is just sick. They praise originality then do not allow it when it really counts.
