The title is very David, and I love it too, frog. Love the single, love the single artwork, love the album title. Now. Where’s the adds date and album artwork and I’ll be happy for a few.

I love the colors form the album cover and I love Archie’s eyes. Good hair too! It looks like a pretty natural photo too which is always good.

Intriguing album title there and it sounds a little angsty. That wasn’t on the list of Archie cowrites ozarka posted the other day is it?

Hmmmm….sounds like it may be a title of one of the songs from the CD too. Can’t wait until September 14!

So excited for Archie. I wish him the best with this record! I wasn’t a huge fan of his on the show, but after seeing him at 3 Idol Tour shows and getting to talk to him 4 times… he won me over. He is a SWEETHEART! -and his voice was very impressive in the live show!! Plus his twitter personality is great. Go Archie! knock em dead.

Oh Thank God I thought they changed and moved the date. I was getting a little worried (ok a lot worried) I had thought it was in July (but why do I have the date of the 16th in my head as the release date. Probably just wishful thinking)

I thought everyone knew he went double platinum with Crush. I remember a conversation about the biggest selling Idol songs and Jordin Carrie Daugthry and David songs all were talked about. I am 100% sure it was brought up that David sold over 2 million and that only a few Idols song had did that. 2 by Jordin, one by Carrie, 2 by Daughtry, and One by David…i don’t think any other idol had a single sell over 2 million but those 5. Am I wrong…please let me know if that is So. Thanks

ITA Kelly also has two singles that has sold over 2 million Since U Been Gone and My Life Would Suck Without You

he has had a lot of appearances [book signings,fox interviews]and well publicized performances recently that could have spurred some upticks in downloads… ‘crush’ was mentioned by jimmy smits in david’s intro at the capitol 4th performance – he played to large crowds there during dress rehearsal, and to probably tens of millions of folks when it was televised… i wouldn’t discount some upticks in sales from that appearance alone

I think the September 14 album release date is a good idea. It looks like Something Bout Love will be a good single for David and with a radio impact date of August 2, the song should still be on the upswing by mid-September and should help to sell the album. As great as Crush was, it was probably past its peak by the time the album came out in November. I know that there are lots of “big” stars releasing their albums on September 14th and that there is no way that David will outsell Kanye on his first week but I’m pretty sure he’ll be fine with the pre-orders that will have been made before the release week. It is tough to beat Idol fans when it comes to album pre-orders!

“Other Side of Down” is very unique, just like David. Happy dance!

In my country I think he’s one of the most popular Idols I hope someday he preforms here, (Even we’re that small that we don’t even have an Itunes Store lol, last year The Jonas Brother performed and the promoters payed them in advance USD$700k just for 45 mins), so I think it would be a great gig for Archie!

Thought provoking cd title. It’s different. I like the way David/Jive is rolling with his new album. There’s something to squeeeeee and woooo hoooo about almost daily keeping the buzz building. Cool.
