I have to admit that I haven’t been following along because I’ve been so busy, so I have no idea what the dramatic conclusion of David Archuleta’s star turn in the Filipino soap opera, Nandito Ako is all about. But it looks pretty awesome!

He falls in love with the girl who unbeknownst to her, saved his life? or something? And a watch was involved? And whatever became of Evil David Cook? And Josh’s dead mother? Oh the questions.

Nandito Ako ended its 5 week run on Friday. Would it be too much to ask for a subtitled DVD?

So sweet of Josh to honor Holly’s mother’s request to make her daughter feel special.  Josh indeed did this!! (So David-like)

Later Holly talks about how Anya and Josh were willing to sacrifice their own Happiness for her.

Lots of beautiful lessons of Love, sacrifice and Friendship.

LCT, thanks for the link to the version with English translations. I never had the patience to wait and just watched the stream in evening. I don’t think I’ve ever watched a show where I understand only a third of the dialogue. The fact I was able to follow along really says a lot about the good acting by all involved.

Funny, I never notice this!  Guess I’m Mesmerized by David’s singing!

I’ve noticed Kelly Clarkson’s breathing even more than David’s.  I know David’s is caused by his vocal chord issue, but I don’t know why I hear it with Kelly.  Doesn’t bother me with either of them, but I know that it has bothered other people especially with David.  I’ve heard some very unkind things said about his breathing.  Since he can’t help it, I have always felt that people who did that were just bullies.

I happen to like the way he breathes, ok that sounds weird. lols  He just ran out of the car to catch Anya in that scene so of course he was breathing a little heavy. I have seen tons of interviews with him and his breathing is normal. :) It really doesn’t matter he is adorbs and can sing anything.

Me too.  So if you are weird, so am I.  In the show he was breathing heavily when he ran or when he was in an emotional scene.  I breath heavily, too, when I have run or been in an emotional confrontation.  That made it more realistic to me.

This is what the head of Ivory Records which recorded the Forevermore OPM had to say about David:
I wish all artists can be like David Archuleta! Our time schedule for
this project was crazy! It was Murphy’s Law till the end! But working
with someone like David made it all worthwhile. Not only is he one of
the best musicians we have ever worked with, he is probably the nicest,
kindest artist. Working with him upclose, we now understand why his
fans love him so much. He truly deserves the respect and accolade given
him. We look forward to working with him again. And for the Archies out
there – watch out! We have more goodies for you!

    ~ Jeff Joson, Ivory Records

I wonder what he means with that last statement.  More goodies????

Journey1, Great to see that Ivory Music wants to work with David again.  I do wonder how David will be able to continue working with Ivory Music (which is Sony’s distributor in the Philippines) if he chooses to sign with a non-Sony label in North America.  I can’t imagine the North American label would be ready to say that David could continue working in Asia with Sony where that is probably where his biggest fanbase is.  Similarly, I can’t see RCA being David’s first choice for a label to sign with after coming back in two years.  Don’t think his last days with Jive were all that positive.  Will be interesting.  Maybe he’ll just resign with 19R :)

Could be the music videos that David did.

I’ll bet that you are right.  He did do a video for Forevermore.  How in the world did he get all of this done in less than a week while he was doing other things for Bench.  He is the energizer bunny.
