Awesome performance, even better than the AI one. I love his interviews too! They are so entertaining and he’s just so real. Lol, at him being happy with his techie job.

Oh, Archie, I may not like your style of music, but you are adorkable.

I love watching Archie’s post-Idol interviews, he comes across so much more articulate than while he was on the show. I know most seemed to like his version of Imagine, but since I wasn’t a fan of that, I’m happy he chose to sing Angels. I enjoyed his rendition of it.

Simon didn’t say “i wish i had what you had” to David Archuleta, but to KYLE ENSLEY, the sweet young man who is curly, and so upright, who sang You Raise Me Up during the hollywood auditions. Kyle was one of the last two male contestants in the top 24 selection night. He was with Colton Berry at that time and Colton got in. Hope this correction comes thru to Kelly. That’s the reason why David can’t remember it. sheesh!

yeah… sorry guys… just felt bad about it. but you are right hermy, he’s cute in those moments. but i just need to correct this so that people won’t misinterpret this negatively. so much harsh words have been thrown to david already. they just can’t see how special this boy is. *sigh* oh well..

I so love this boy too, like my own son! I always include him in my prayers and daily devotions. He is such an angel. i’ve been blessed to experience what an angel really looks/sounds like. David is a special gift from God. I am proud of the way his parents brought him up. Such outstanding values! such grounded chararacter! A great personality. And he’s only 17!

Archie is very adorkable, He and Cook probably got along great because they’re both smart and a bit nerdy.

He and Cook are two peas in a pod. So cute together, but who can’t love little David??? Nobody can resist the Archuleta!

Gosh, I love that kid. I don’t do morning shows anymore or I would have been there! I think Angels is one of my favorites, so I was beaming when he sang that this morning. His interview was really cute, and the impromptu meet n greet was cute too. Will check out the rickey stuff later.

Archie has really, really been growing on me. Yes, that boy is downright adorkable. And I occasionally do put the studio of “Angels” on repeat, so it was nice to see him perform that again. As much as I love Cook, I wish great success for Archie, too.

Aw! You all are so sweet! It’s nice to see that Archie is growing on some of you who may not have liked him much during AI. It’s great to see all these contestants outside the pressure-packed competition. They all have fantastic personalities. Yes, Archie really is adorable and sweet

They worked for me skylight. Maybe try again. DA’s interviews are definitely better than I expected. I’ve really enjoyed them and am looking forward to more. Very distinct voice. I didn’t know he was still just a junior in high school. I thought he was in his senior year and just about to graduate, which does make me see him as reponding more age appropriate in his interviews now.

I like the aspect of the interview where they asked Arch how he cope with his 3 hours of school within this hoo-haa of American Idol. Amazing that he could juggle everything and still produce amazing performances with a paralysed vocal cord. And nice performance Arch. Hope you can produce a good album like J.Mayer or S.Bareilles.

I saw that earlier and was thinking, I need to post this here to spread the David Archuleta lovin. This is definitely his best performance of angels to date (the hospital clip). I’m hoping he sings this tomorrow at the today show, and does it exactly the same way.. he’ll blow everybody away!!!

Hey – does anyone have a link where I can download Archie’s songs from the finale? I’m sure there’s an amazing website out there with all his songs collected on it….I just haven’t found it yet.

nahhh, archie doesn’t need a ‘magic rainbow’ song, ‘angels’ is perfectly fine for him. can’t wait for him to give a knock out :shock_tb: performance during their AI tour!

David sounds beautiful at the Children’s hospital, his tone is stunning. Am really enjoying his interviews, with the pressure off, his humor and good natured personality really showing, what a gracious young man he is. Doing school work for three hours, in top of a crazy schedule on AI, must have been a killer. Looking forward to hearing his music
