thanks mj! imagine gives me chills!

you can tell he had a few technical difficulties and was nervous singing crush for the first time. but all in all, he did a great job.

and angels sounded even better than on the tour. maybe because there was no screaming distracting you from hearing his beautiful voice.

Angels sounded great…i love when he sings that song! And i did watch imagine in the crappy quality video, yet he still sounded amazing! i think it’s my favorite version yet. i’m glad he did the whole song! i hope a better quality video comes up somehwere!

I took a lot more of Cook than Archuleta since this was the first time I actually got more than a few seconds with him. After 3 concerts and an after party I finally got my hugs and pics with him. I actually got 5 pictures with him today! Two goofy face shots.

I just started uploading my videos but the files are about 400-500MB each to it’s going to take awhile!

IÂ ´m loving Imaine, definitly one of the most beautiful songs ever writing…

i still cant get over how incredible he sounds on imagine. how much more brilliant can this kid get? im sitting here in amazement after listening to these videos. his voice just pierces through to your soul. ive never felt this way about another singer before.

david is going to be huge. this is his destiny. i can just feel it.

I think Archie did a great job with “Crush” for his first time out despite a few nerves at the beginning – I definitely prefer the song without the background singers.

Yeah poor guy was nervous about doing it lol They had some of his backing vocals on the track they ran.. but the music was low you couldnt really hear it…

But I think he did a great job all things considering. loved the ending too. :)

David is wearing a CTR ring – it’s a Mormon thing. Not a purity ring, but it stands for “Choose the Right.” Lots of kids wear them and many adults.

Probably my favorite DA performance of Imagine too. Wow. So glad he sang the entire song.

I have to say…David is amazing..My heart is stolen..I’m happy to hear nice songs from him. David cook was also great. I wish I would be there..:-(

Angels was otherworldly, and I am glad he sang that, and glad everyone was quiet so I could enjoy his voice!

Imagine gave me chills, especially the “no religion” part. Happy he sang the whole thing. but I got irritated with whoever screamed during the song, a song with so much meaning and depth sung so beautifully should have been treated with reverence, not like a concert! LOL sorry, I was just so irritated.

Thanks for these links. That was great to see. You can hear the nerves in his voice on Crush (and he needs a band for it–seems a little bare with just a track) but it was good and will get better when he sings it more.

I think Imagine should be a bonus track I think they would be remiss not to include a full track, I would love to have a (no screaming gasping, sighing) full copy myself.

Crush was good, considering his nerves, it was very good.

Angels is just the most beautiful song that he sings for me. This one is not exception. Damn!

I would raether a copy of Angels to a copy of Imagine, but that is because Angels had always being one of my favorites songs… there is a rumor in fanforums about Angels being recorded but still not sure if it will make it to the album…

Yes, for top eight… but those record are really rushed, and they don ´t choose the instruments in the records, they only make the vocals… so maybe they will do a new version to see how it works..
