Chris Daughtry and his band, Daughtry, are embarking on their first-ever headlining arena tour, beginning this fall.

The 36 date tour will launch October 19 in Topeka, KS, ending the first leg of the tour December 20 in Evansville, IL. Acts set to open for Daughtry are main support, Theory of a Deadman and opener, Cavo.

The band is supporting their latest album, Leave This Town, which, according to RCA’s press release, has sold more than a half million copies in five weeks.

  • lakerchristinee

Mmm, I’m really liking the northwest love! Hahahaha

  • waffle

Wow, that list is impressive. So exciting! I hope the tour is successful, as this would bode well for other idols. Good luck Daughtry!

I am sad he isn’t coming to Dallas – but am thrilled his career has taken off with such success!!

He is the only Fav I’ve had who was voted off too early & made me angry instead of just dissapointed!

His success & devotion to family make me feel joyous on a daily basis!!

WAY TO GO DAUGHTRY….YOU DESERVE IT ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :wub_tb:

He’s coming to Austin! Yea! Of course, he’s coming to a venue that is not my fave place to see a band in this town (security tight, sound so-so), but he’s coming, so I’ll be there.

This is so exciting!! It’s only the first leg of the tour….they’ll be going back out at the beginning of next year too, I’m guessing they’ll hit more of the west coast then.

Have fun when you go…..and maybe you could sneak in a review somewhere here at MJs so I could experience his concert through you – :wink1_tb:

This Dallas would just love it!

  • Vada

Wow. Three stops in Florida, but all in the extreme northern part of a very long state. It seems they could have dipped a bit further south for at least one show.

Oh well. I would have liked to have seen this tour.

  • yeahyeahsure

Very excited for them! I’m definitely going to one of the shows.

ETA: Just read at the press release that NS was #1 at the HAC charts. Congrats to their 4th #1.

Daughtry had to cancel last night’s small club performance in AZ and tonight’s show in LA (which I have VIP tickets for) is ???? I hope he Tweets soon to let us know if it’s on or not.

    Chris has viral laryngitis (sp?).

Where is the rest of the country on that fall tour schedule? I guess we will get Jan and Feb.

  • canadiandcfan

I was patient when they toured with BJ.. and with Nickelback but now solo and still only one Canadian date? please please please add a few more? we’re really nice and we scream loud. :) ?

its gonna be an awesome show.
