Chris Daughtry and a few members of his band dropped by Today’s Hoda and Kathie Lee show yesterday to perform an acoustic version of their new single, “Start of Something Good.”

    The song is well constructed and his voice is wonderful.  But it’s as though he has run out of magical hooks that clinch a song into hitsville.

    Really pretty song, and he certainly emotes well, and I agree that he has a really beautiful voice.  I really, really like that this was acoustic, but I think that I’ll have to check out the album version, and probably buy it.  I can’t believe that I don’t have this album, but I think that with so many singing shows, and so many of the former contestants releasing music, it’s pretty easy to overlook someone, even someone you really like.
