Surprise! When pop star Nick Jonas and country singer Thomas Rhett got together last week in Nashville to tape their CMT Crossroads special, Daniel Bradbery joined them onstage!
The Voice season 4 winner took the stage alongside the duo to sing the Tove Lo part in Nick’s new single “Close”. The special will air sometime later his year. CMT Crossroads is an ongoing series for the cable channel which pairs country artists with performers from various genres like rock, pop and R&B.
Danielle tweeted excitedly about the surprise appearance:

Also last week (4/20), Danielle premiered a new song, “Potential,” at a Girls of Spring event which took place at 3rd & Lindsley in Nashville. She announced to the crowd that she wrote the tune with Emily Weisband and Johan Lindbrandt. “They are so amazing!” she gushed about her co-writers. “This song is probably one of my favorites, that I’m really proud of,” she said.
