Only Kristi had enough female talent spunk to carry a male dancer. :) I imagine Lacey at least understood the magnitude of Bruno's compliment tonight. _On the Town_ is one of the best dance films ever made, and Gene Kelly and Ann Miller two of the best dancers. (Oddly enough, the two never actually danced together in the film -- Gene was paired with Vera-Ellen, who was Rosemary Clooney's sis in _White Christmas_, and some guy whose name I still don't know, who always ended up in the Kelly-Sinatra musicals, was with Ann Miller. Can you tell I am a fan? haha) Their dance really did invoke the spirit of that film, a film which invoked the spirit of the era Lance's granddad grew up in. It all came together beautifully.
