Maybe if DWTS didn’t do the same thing and become hateful about a non issue for the show – politics, more people would tune in. Democrats have used that midas touch and destroyed this show too.

Just what does Delay’s politics have to do with anything. Or for that matter, snide remarks from judges about Palin? I guess THE ONE has ordered you all to be so hateful – you know – get in their faces. Maybe you all can get ABC to get the newest Democrat victims POlanski and Letterman to participate so you can cheer your kind of people.

I watched clips of Delay and he looked like he was enjoying himself dancing. How dare he!

Way to go MJ hosting a web full of haters – you included. Way to go ABC you managed to tell 50% of your audience to go to hell. Watch the ratings drop on this show dramatically.

He did? Where does it say that? and if so, that is not very nice at all!

He said it last year some time. Cheryl has definitely put on weight since she started on the show. Lacey has always been the way she is.

The professional dancers on DWTS are not pleased that Cheryl Burke and Lacey Schwimmer packed on a few pounds this season.

‘If you want to gain weight, it’s your prerogative,’  dancer Louis van Amstel says in the newest issue of TV Guide. ‘We all put on weight because there was no summer tour,’  he adds. ‘But you have to deal with the consequences.’ 

Pro Maksim Chmerkovskiy is also complaining.

‘When I first saw these women this season, I said, ‘Guys, you know the camera adds 10 pounds,”  he says. ”You have to do something about this.’  Burke and Schwimmer have gotten slimmer since the season’s premiere, but van Amstel says the damage is done.

‘[People] look at this show to be inspired and think, ‘If I just work hard enough, I can look like that,”  he says. ‘If they watch someone who’s dancing her butt off and she’s still heavy, they can be discouraged.

‘You have to take responsibility,’  he adds.

Jonathan’“as close as I can get to Maks’ opposite’“ is there to be a Jonathan. You need the hot jerk AND the kind, patient, professional teacher, to make the show interesting and varied. That said though, I think Maks is losing some of his spark. I can’t explain it, but he just isn’t exciting the way he used to be, and I never even was a Maks fangirl.

I’d like a change-up, please. Let Jonathan be the hot guy with the strong partner for a change! Perhaps Maks has lost some spark. IMO he was robbed of a win with Mel B.
Tom DeLay may be the worst person in the world, but he wasn’t the worst dancer on this show. I think he was entitled to dance as long as he felt able. I’ll miss Cheryl. This years celebrities are not really good dancers, so to me, this season is one of the least interesting.
I’ll still watch, though. For Louie and Chelsie and I’m looking forward to see Sabrina again. (Another person who was robbed).

Is there some reason why his name is being spelled/typed as ‘Delay?’  It’s not a huge deal, but it seems like it might be intentional. I like the fact that you have always strived to be fair in coverage to all the Idols, whether they were your personal favorites or not, so I just am wondering about why he isn’t getting the extra capital letter in his last name, like anyone from Diana DeGarmo to Drake LaBry gets here.

I’m just going to assume your aren’t serious, and leave it at that. lol.

If he were to stop being a diva, all of the female fans infatuated with him would lose interest. Maks is there to be a Maks. Jonathan–as close as I can get to Maks’ opposite– is there to be a Jonathan. You need the hot jerk AND the kind, patient, professional teacher, to make the show interesting and varied. I find it inspirational how he went on a dance show where half the cast including his dance partner probably hates him and he was made a fool of, and yet he always kept positive and happy about it. From Majority Leader to DWTS’s comedic character, but he embraced it.

There you can see the confidence and go-get-it attitude that got him such a successful career in politics, regardless of whether he made good decisions with his power when he had it.

I am happy to see Tom DeLay leave the show, but I will miss Cheryl. This was a great time to turn this week into one of the planned double elimination shows. Yes, there was more drama to handle it the way the show did.

Maks is a wonderful dancer with an amazing body, but at times his ego can be annoying!

I have found myself supporting the former SYTYCD stars. It seems like I “know” them personally. All three are terrific dancers and this could make for a GOOD competition.

In any event, congrats to Tom DeLay on a great run! Especially as the oldest contestant by a good amount and probably the person doing something most unlike anything they had ever done in their career.

Also, he has continued his streak of never losing an election nor any sort of voting competition (such as DWTS.)

Glad Tom is gone. Don’t care how it happened.

I wish Vince Van Patten and that bitchy model had gotten the boot.
