The 16th season of ABC’s Dancing with the Stars is less than 24 hours away from premiering. We know the celebs. We know their partners. Before they even do a single dip or samba roll, who is your pre-show favorite?

    Out of this cast, Kellie is the one I am rooting for. Zendaya is another one that I want to get far.

    I haven’t watched DWTS for several years but will definitely watch and vote for Kellie!!!! Personality plus and looks like she will be great!!!

    Leaving emotion out of it, she’s definitely got to be considered one of the favorites. She’s got the personality to grow her fanbase on the show, has the youth and athletic ability to do the moves, and she’s got the all-time fan favorite as a partner. Say what you will about Derek but he’s arguably the best choreographer on the show.

    I got into watching the videos of the dancing show here, and reading the recaps, never actually watched the show – so it’s all mj’s fault… *snerk* But I found out it’s enjoyable to see what they will do with dance styles that I know, I know what they are meant to look like, and I can see how much the limits get pushed – and I know the first two that Kellie has very well, Cha Cha and Jive – so I’m ultra curious.

    I only recognized two other names on that list for sure, the country music Judd and Dorothy Hamil. I voted for Kellie and Derek, I even like her promo pic the best!! Derek is very generously letting her shine in that pic – where the other pics have the focus equally outward or on each other – this one, Dereks’s focus is on Kellie – and her focus (and that knowing smile) is entirely on the audience. The body lines look completely natural, I think she’s got some skillz!

    Gonna be fun to watch, IMO.

    I saw a video of Kellie practicing and she looks pretty good so think she’s a favorite to win. I like her but Derek grates on me even with his talent. Not sure who else has a shot but will tune in for a while at least.

    I only know who Kellie, Wynonna and Dorothy are, don’t know the others. I will be rooting for Kellie to win and for Dorothy and Wynonna to do well. I am not really familiar with the dancers. I watched videos here during Donny Osmond’s season (I had liked him as a kid), but I don’t really remember the dancers. Maybe it will come back to me once I watch again.

    Voted Kellie b/c she is my favorite but I love Ingo and Dorothy too. LOL, I never vote for DWTS based on the celeb’s dancing, so it’s always a nice surprise when my favorites on there can dance. (I kind of view it as a referendum on who’s my favorite celeb of the bunch.)

    Kellie, she has it all. She looks like a natural. With her personality and work ethic, anything is possible.

    This will be the first season that I’m watching the show and actually looking forward to it being on. I’ve only seen a couple routines and a musical guest here and there in all the seasons that it’s been on. Kellie is for sure the main thing drawing me to watch this season, but I like several of the other cast members too.

    Derek &Kellie i have been of fan of Kellies since American Idol favorite country female singer & fame has not affected her she is so humble sweet & kind Go Kellie

    I’m team Kellie. I think she has all of what it takes to win this show: skill, humor, and personality. Plus she has one of the best dance partners. I just pray he doesn’t do that icky ‘ironing board’ (what I call it for lack of a better term) bit where the female partner is positioned balancing on their legs while flat on their back and he pumps them up and down.

    I’m disappointed that D.L. Hughley and Wynona are placing so low here. I like them both.

    I was VERY excited when I found out she had Derek, People who are with Derek always stick around for a long time. I don’t think he has ever had anyone who didn’t at least make it halfway through the season. Most of his people at least make the top 5 if I remember correctly. Considering everything I’ve seen about Kellie leading up to the show i’d be VERY surprised if she is an exception. I’m also excited to see Lindsay and her partner on the show. I was a big fan of hers when she was on SYTYCD and she is also very good at choreography. She is one of the only ballroom people on that show that could choreograph a good ballroom solo. That being said I think teaching it could be a problem for her since she is so young and so new but I’m hoping she gets more time and more seasons to perfect that.
