The last performance show of Dancing 13!  If that’s not exciting enough guess what–it’s only an hour!  Yes, you heard right!  Freestyles, etc. coming at you tonight courtesy of your Top 3–Ricki, Rob, and J.R!

Ricki Lake and Derek Hough - Cha Cha Cha - Ricki was this season’s top overall scorer!  Carrie Ann came in to help her with her cha cha.  I’m not sure if it’s the new lighting–but something about this just isn’t sizzling like a great cha cha should.  Everything else is good, but I can’t put my finger on what’s bringing it down.  I think it’s the slower tempo as opposed to traditional quick cha cha’s.  That was good though.  Len called it action-packed, good timing, good rhythm, could have been more fluid, but it’s a dance worthy of the final.  Bruno said she’s never been hotter and it was always very clean, but it lacked fluidity in a few parts.  Carrie Ann says she was living the dance, not just performing it BUT her arms got weird.  Confidence at its best.  Steve Jones Tom Bergeron is rushing the judges for their comments.  Carrie Ann – 9 Len – 9 Bruno – 9 – 27. 1-800-VOTE4-11.  Derek’s won everytime he reached the finale.

Rob Kardashian and Cheryl Burke – Waltz – Bruno helps the pair out.  He thinks Rob has a real chance at winning.  Very clean, but I think Rob is very awkward to watch in parts (hand motions, footwork, facial features).  That didn’t really leave me that excited, and usually waltzes take me places.  Bruno said he was flowing and blowing, loved the continuity of lines, but messed up the crossovers in the footwork.  Carrie Ann called him the male Cinderella and she’s wowed.  Len loved his posture but occasionally he got heavy and lost posture.  It was simple but simply beautiful.  Tom calls him Cinderfella!  Carrie Ann – 9 Len – 9 Bruno – 9 – 27.

J.R. Martinez and Karina Smirnoff – Cha Cha Cha – OF COURSE Len is the mentor and OF COURSE J.R. is last.  Len came to work on J.R.’s hips, and he feels that the winner will be whomever wants it most.  Len thinks it’s Karina’s year to win.  WHAT A START FROM KARINA!  And then J.R. comes out.  He looks confused and very stiff.  He’s walking!  This is not smooth.  There are a lot of little steps instead of big confident ones.  J.R.’s musicality has improved so much though, and he doesn’t look lost, just not smooth.  Not loving that-it was okay.  8′s across at best… Carrie Ann said the crowd loved him but his musicality was off.  His arms were not presentable.  She knows J.R. can come back.  Len said it was brave that he did a lot of the dance solo, but it wasn’t that good.  He was off time and messed up all throughout it.  His enthusiasm got the better of him.  Steven Tom is rushing again.  Bruno said his intensity was right on the money, he loved the sexuality.  He was out of place but handled it well.

Ricki Lake and Derek Hough – Freestyle – I love how they’re incorporating all of the different dances!  Ridiculous choreography–salsa and quickstep!  She lost it a little in the middle, but that was fantastic!  Len said it was a lot of fun and she did a fantastic job.  She lost it a tiny bit in the middle.  Bruno said he loved the transition between the sexy salsa and the smooth quickstep.  It was great fun.  Carrie Ann said Ricki exploded.  Her lifts were fantastic, except for the last one.  Carrie Ann – 9 Len – 9 Bruno – 9 – 27.  Night score is 54/60.

Hi Kirstie Alley!

Rob Kardashian and Cheryl Burke – Freestyle – Cheryl admits that all of Rob’s best dances were slow, so she wants him to start off slow.  She thinks their chemistry and crazy lifts will pull them ahead.  Jazz music kicks it off.  This is risky–usually when the underdog pulls off something not exciting they score poorly.  This is okay, but it just looks like a quicksetp without hold.  Better when it picks up speed.  UGH MORE BUTT ACCENTING.  Wow great lift at the end!!!!!  It exceeded my expectations, but it wasn’t that exciting.  Sorry!  Bruno said it was brilliant all around.  He is peaking at the right time.  Carrie Ann said the freestyle wins or loses the competition for you.  She said to “consider herself blown.”  Ahem.  Usually an “away” follows Carrie Ann…  Len compliments Rob on giving it his all and giving his all to his family.  That really wasn’t stellar.  Expect 10′s anyway…  Carrie Ann – 10 (UGH) Len – 10 Bruno – 10 – 30. HOLY SMOKES A 30.  OH MY GOODNESS.  WHOAH.  WHAT.  ??????? CORRUPTION!  CORRUPTION!

J.R. Martinez and Karina Smirnoff – Freestyle – Karina keeps freezing and is afraid.  We’ll see if she gets it together!  I love this song–Kat Deluna!  This is good!  Very Latin/hip hop oriented.  J.R.’s really giving it his all.  Did he knock Karina over or was she supposed to fall like that?  What fun this is!  Whoah that move at the end is a little controversial…  That was so much fun!  Carrie Ann says he’s winding up uh uh uh uh and does a dance.  The lifts were “sick.”  Len said Karina’s body and J.R.’s talent were revealed.  Fantastic!  Bruno loved it and is very excited.  Carrie Ann – 10 Len – 10 Bruno – 10 – 30. 1-800-VOTE4-10.

Closing comments coming tomorrow!

  • callmecrazy

Dang, my live stream seems to be like ten minutes  behind:O

  • callmecrazy

Hmmm, I’m surprised CarrieAnn was ‘mentoring’ Ricki and not Rob….must have been that restraining order from Mama Kardashian:P

  • callmecrazy

Ick, this cha cha is not good….:/  Dunno if the song is not in tune with the dance or what…but this pretty much hoovers!

  • callmecrazy

Ok Bruno…so when was Ricki ever hot or sexy? *scratching head*  My gosh she complains!

  • YeahRight

I see them giving Rob a 30 for this waltz.

  • Trina

Wait, what? J.R. is going last?? AGAIN? O.o This has to be a record.

I was reading before that Rob is going to law school after this. I say good for him! That’s a big step and when the Kardashians are washed up reality has-beens he’ll have a good career to fall back on.

These judges are nuts. That did not warrant a 27. Geesh.

Aw hell yes Jose Rene is back!

  • YeahRight

I’m also calling a perfect 60 for JR.  And yes, the man is going last again.  That has to be a record.

  • callmecrazy

Meh, the only thing I liked about that waltz is Rob’s pink tie.

  • YeahRight

These judges are nuts. That did not warrant a 27. Geesh.

They love them some Rob.  Either that, or they’re afraid of how his family will react.

  • YeahRight

These judges are trying to be tough tonight.  Why at the end of the season?

  • callmecrazy

Really now, what is there to be afraid of?  What would the Kardashians do or could do?  Revolt and slap the judges with their knockoff handbags?

  • callmecrazy

Oh noes, I haven’t seen J.R.s cha cha yet as my live stream seems to be running behind but dang by reading how he did….doesn’t look good for him:/

  • callmecrazy

Len looks like Gargamel from the Smurfs!

  • callmecrazy

Oh wow, J.R.’s cha cha wasn’t in sync…*bummed*

  • YeahRight

This show seems to be going fast, doesn’t it?  I love it.

  • YeahRight

Will Rob get a 30?  I say, yes.

They had to give him a 30 sometime. He couldn’t be the only one not to get a 30.

  • callmecrazy

    *shaking head in disbelief*

  • YeahRight

Carrie Ann needs to stay seated.  We don’t need to see any of her old Fly Girl moves.

  • Trina

Oh wow! J.R. and Karina just did the unthinkable  – they did a freestyle that topped my all time very favorite freestyle of all time, Drew and Cheryl’s. Just WOW! That was freaking insane.

  • http://pulse.yahoo.com/_UITYTUSGL7IK7WLFFDXXRYP7GA Falfor

Dang, wondering how much weight Ricki Lake has lost.  She looks good.

  • callmecrazy

Holy Bananas Batman, that was freakin’ AHHHMAAAZZIINNNNo/

  • YeahRight

So, Ricki is coming in 3rd and either JR or Rob is winning this thing.

  • Baylee Dimplesz lovee

hoping Rob wins in spite of the huge pimping of the other two this little dark horse has improved weekly and made it through, proud of him.  He is one Kardashian I can actually stand now.

  • callmecrazy

Hoping and crossing fingers for a J.R. win, but I have my box of rocky road ice cream to boo hoo into in case of a Rob win:/

Hey that could be a win win situation…ice cream solves everythingo/

  • YeahRight

It was good, but it wasn’t that good.  Drew and Cheryl’s freestyle will always be the best of all time to me.

  • Trina

Twitter is all about Rob and J.R. thanks to their freestyles and uh, well Rob’s whole family tweeting up a storm. i wouldnt be shocked to see Ricki knocked out at 3rd.

Oh hey here’s some fascinating timing, J.R. has a Nightline interview coming up at 10pm.

  • Banished

JR deserved more than a 7 Len.. Rob did NOT deserve 10s . Funky hands and weird arms. Wow. I think they already know how the  phone in votes will pan out. Maybe trying to tick off JR fans to get them to vote and finally give Karina her win. None of the performances totally blew me away though. LOL MJ the black Voldemort is spot on and I am ashamed of myself for not seeing/thinking that all season!!!

  • callmecrazy

Who or what is a Voldemort?

  • callmecrazy

Ok so I just googled what/who a Voldemort is and uhmmm….gee!:(

  • YeahRight

Yeah.  I think we were set up for a Rob win tonight.  If twitter is going crazy about them and his sisters are tweeting up a storm, then Ricki is going out at 3rd and Rob is probably winning.

I don’t want Ricki to come in 3rd because then the people on TWoP will celebrate, but it looks like that’s going to happen.

  • http://twitter.com/RKOBlackSwan Black Swan

    LOL.

You guys are funny. Do you not see what the show is doing? JR and Ricki (more JR) have been running away with the votes all season that the judges had to make sure the scores were as close as possible tonight to give the audience the idea that Rob has a shot. It is pretty obvious to me.

For me, the big win for Rob was making the finale. First, I never expected him to outlast his sister when she was on. Then I didn’t expect him to get past the middle of the show (week 5 or so). And finally, I certainly didn’t think a place in the finale was even remotely possible. So, getting to the finale is the win. I feel proud, as if I know him. That’s what an underdog story is all about. And it’s also what a most improved arc will do on shows like this. While JR and Ricki have basically rocked the house week in and week out (a few stumbles naturally), Rob has just come from the back of the pack to improve. And with his dancing came a great personality, very UN-KARDASHIAN like and I think that helped people wanting to pick up the phone for him as well.

So yes, he will come in 3rd and I hope he doesn’t get too down on himself for that. Coming in 3rd to those two is nothing to sniff at. That’s some damn stiff competition and not a bad way to end a reality television show run. Same can be said for both JR/Ricki. I hope they are both proud at how well they have done on this show.

Tonight’s regular dances were all hit/miss for me (all three had positives and negatives). But the freestyles were hot. All of them! These professionals know how to choreograph. Derek knows his tricks. Cheryl knows how to use her partner’s strength and how to impress the judges. Karina knows how to make a freestyle sizzle. They all should be commended on a job well done.

I think they dance tomorrow night either an instant Samba first or the “favorite routine of the season” first and then get a final set of scores. Then the 3rd place finisher is revealed and the final 2 do the other dance that I mentioned before (whichever one didn’t happen first).

Rob, 3rd. Ricki, 2nd. JR, 1st. – without even seeing tomorrow night’s show yet. My only real gripe this season (beyond the usual gripes about people leave too early or staying too long) is that the outcome of the final 2 at least has been so utterly predictable.

  • Anonymous

Ok Bruno…so when was Ricki ever hot or sexy? *scratching head*

LOL – NEVER! She has lost a ton of weight and actually her legs look pretty darn good now, but sexy? I don’t think so, Bruno. And another thing that has always bugged me about Ricki Lake is the EXPRESSION on her face when she dances. Don’t know why, it just does.

Color me happy no 10′s for Ricki and Derek tonight, but I will also say the judges couldn’t be any more predictable than they were tonight. Honestly I do NOT think Rob’s freestyle was better than Ricki’s, even though I’m glad he got the 10′s and she didn’t. (or more to the point, that she AND Derek didn’t)

  • Anonymous

Last week it looked like Big Bird threw up on Ricki … this week her black and white outfit made me think of an ostrich.  I hope she is 3rd …. can’t stand her personality.

  • alterego7

I would love to see Rob in the Top 2.  I’m voting for him.

I’m on the anti-Rikki train.  I agree, she comes off so insincere (read:  fake).

  • callmecrazy

Yeah those facial expressions are something else.  She’s set to return to talk show host duties in the fall of 2012.

Ugh, the judges this season have been RIDICULOUS!  And I am usually a fan of  them but this season was a big turn off, especially CarrieAnn with her embarrassing and obvious enamore with Rob’s A$$!   I’m surprised she hasn’t yet tossed her panties at him while dancing.  Oh well, there is tomorrow nights results show for that chance.

  • callmecrazy

PLEASE and I mean this sincerely….enlighten me about Rob’s great personality.  Cuz honestly he comes off as about as personable as a wad of chewed gum!

Other than that, I think you are spot on about everything else :D

  • http://twitter.com/RKOBlackSwan Black Swan

I can pretty much sum it up like this… the Kardashian brood are impossible to like. They are completely unlikeable. The reality shows, the interviews, the media frenzy- none of them come off even remotely likeable. And I had the exact same opinion of Rob- until this show.

He comes off way different than them. Humble, feet on the ground instead of head in the clouds, modest, honest, and above all else- he genuinely seems like a nice guy and someone I would hang with and shoot the breeze. I would excuse myself once he invited me to the Kardashian home for dinner but enjoy him in any other atmosphere. To me, and I know I am pretty much alone with this, he has a really good personality.

  • http://twitter.com/Miztig Miz

callmecrazy, I had to google it too. I was never into Harry Potter and didn’t see any of the movies. WIth that said, I’m rooting for JR. I like him a lot.

  • callmecrazy

I have never seen any of the Potter movies, nor Twilight movies, nor Lord of the Ring movies….:O  But I have seen Anchorman a frillion times:D

I’ve been rooting for J.R. since day one:)

  • callmecrazy

Thank you for your reply and enlightenment…:)

  • YeahRight

And Rob comes off as sincere?  Please.  I’m not buying his “transformation” or whatever.

  • http://twitter.com/RKOBlackSwan Black Swan

I didn’t mean to come off any sour way about it though. Not sure what you mean by enlightenment. You might mean nothing in particular but my reply wasn’t intended to be anything other than my honest opinion on it.

  • callmecrazy

I totally appreciate your opinion.:)  I was just asking what it is about Rob YOU see that I have not seen regarding his personality.

  • http://twitter.com/RKOBlackSwan Black Swan

I guess it is a totally subjective thing. Many are turned off by Ricki but I don’t see it. So I guess some will be turned off by Rob and I don’t see that. But I love differing opinions. That makes the world go ’round.

  • callmecrazy

    I rather enjoy differing opinions:)

Heck I have this weird attraction to Christopher Walken…nothing sexual but it’s more of a he is so not the ‘norm’ that I like it a lot!  But then again, what is the norm?

Ooh my, if he were ever a contestant on DWTS I would be one happy girlo/

  • Anonymous

I want so bad Karina and J.R to win the ugly mirror trophy :), i don’t dislike Rob at all, i think his family is annoying though , standing there all the shows taking the tv time , i mean ”Kim and Chloe Kardashian in NY” commercials ? ….gezzz this family knows how to take any opportunity to self promote their life style :|

  • http://twitter.com/KariannHart Kariann Hart

I am glad to see I am not the only one!  My daughter loves the Tilight movies, but you need to start with the first.

I’d like to see J.R. win.  Sometimes the best dancer doesn’t win; however, he has personality and dance skills!

  • http://pulse.yahoo.com/_ACMLXLYSSX73RNYQOUZWSO2I4U Enough already!

JR moves like a Thoroughbred and Rob Kardashian moves like a plow horse!   I don’t know how Rob gets the scores he gets, Ricki is 100  times better dancer.   No, I am not a dancer but have watched this show for years and the better dancers don’t always win or even get to the finals.   So what else is new in realty TV?

  • callmecrazy

Would it be better to read the book(s) before I attempt to watch the twilight franchise movies?  I love reading :)

  • callmecrazy

Ace Young was on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills show tonight…kinda random:O

Sure do wish DWTS would put the seasons to DVD’s!

  • Anonymous

Christopher Walken would tear up the ballroom floor.  The only thing that would hold him back would be age.  He’s a song and dance man from way back.  Check him out on youtube’s clip in Pennies from Heaven.  He’d be an excellent (an actual A-list STAR) competitor.  Would love to see it! lol

  • callmecrazy

Oh I will check that out…:)

Love him in the video for Fat Boy Slim’s song…Weapon of Choiceo/

And yeah, a definite A-lister star!

I wonder if he has ever been asked? Ok, now I got the giggles thinking of him as SNL’s the Continental..:D

  • Susan

Yes… at least the first book.  Too much is left out of the first movie.  The other movies don’t leave as much out.

  • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=195101108 Stefan Wind

JR’s freestyle was the best and should reward him with the mirrorball. I wouldn’t be THAT upset if Rob won though…anyone but Derek…oh sorry, I mean Ricki.

  • Anonymous

First of all, JR dances better even after he got injured compared to Rob, IMO.
I also understand that in these kind of competition shows, background stories count. So, it will be even sadder if an American hero will lose to a brother of a reality show star.

  • RockiDreams

I thought JR was overscored on his freestyle.  He was off from Karina and to me, it looked super sloppy.  However, I think all three did a good job.  Sometimes these freestyles just plain flop. I did not care for Rob much in the beginning but I think he has improved so much with the dancing and personality.  I hope he wins.  Go figure.  Good show – not too long for a change.  I am sure they will make up for that tonight.

  • http://www.facebook.com/robbey.le Robbey Le

Rob just has so much personality and charm, and he knows how to put that in a dance. Rooting for him. ^_^

  • hcpoirot

This season, the scores from the judges are so FAKE. Some of them get a fair scores . Some of them just got higher scores that they deserve. LIke Rob K free style. Even if the judges feeling generous, the highest is 27. and not 30. DWTS is losing rating and did all they can to boost the rating.

  • Anonymous

I’ve missed quite a few shows this season and have no favorite.  Based on last night’s dancing, I think Rob should win.  While JR has done well throughout the season, his Cha Cha was off last night and I thought his freestyle with Karina was a mess.

I didn’t expect to say this, but Rob’s seems like a good guy and he has built some confidence; good for him.  He has grown quite a bit this season and I think it would be great if he won that trophy!

  • Anonymous

I’ve been rooting for JR since the beginning.  I was rooting for him before I knew he could dance because I use to watch him on AMC.  Once I realized he could dance I knew that he could be a contender.  I know he was pimped, but he is also a very damn fine dancer.  I hope he wins.  I watched this freestyle twice.  I never do that.  I loved it!

  • callmecrazy

    Ok cool…:)

  • callmecrazy

I’m still hoping for a J.R. win tonight o/ but am prepared(ice cream scoop ready) for someone else winning….:/

I’m also kinda relieved the DWTS season is over and I can recoup a bit…only for a bit since my reality tv watching continues with both Survivor and Amazing Race finale’s to come:O  Oh and then Project Runway All-stars in January as well as Idol….dangggggggg *@@*
