Dancing With The Stars 12 – Week 7 – VIDEO

Ralph & Karina make a big comeback with a quickstep, and Hines and Kym’s march to the win is unimpeded. Both couples head the leaderboard this week with 66 points (out of 80) a piece.

Everyone would have had higher scores if the cha cha cha group dance had better scores.  The judges were not impressed! Both teams tied at 30 points out of 40.

Extra points also came from guest judge Donnie Burns who was pretty useless.

Going home this week? Kendra may head out the door, despite dancing pretty well this week, or maybe Chelsea or Romeo, who are both good, but probably not as popular as Ralph, Hines and Kristie.

Live blog and videos after the JUMP…

Live blogging Week 7 of Dancing With the Stars right HERE. Bragging that last week’s DWTS was “the most watched show in America”. Eh. Their demo sucks (old people!) so who cares.

The 6 couples have been coached by the greatest dance champions. Latin champion Donnie Burns is introduced “Donnie Burns is our Tiger Woods, ”  says Maks. Donnie sits on the panel with the rest of the judges.

Team Dances! It’s the cha cha cha

Team Chelsea: includes Ralph and Karina, Chelsea and Mark and Romeo and Chelsie – OMG Mark’s hip thrusts are scaring me. Big improvement from Ralph.

Len: This is such a challenge…to have to learn a second dance. I thought you did a terrific job. Bruno: You lost sync so many times. Keep in time. Carrie Ann: I thought they were very much in time. Ralph, I’m impressed. You held your own. Donnie: I think they did a great job. Ralph, as good as you were, you fluffed a little of the footworks, but it didn’t not ruin the team formation. Donnie: 8, Carrie Ann – 8, Len – 7, Bruno – 7 – 30 VIDEO

Team Hines: Hines and Karina, Kristie and Maks, Kendra and Louis. WHOA SPRAY TANS! Hines! Tricks! Team Hines be killing it. All 3 couples are shaking their thangs.

Bruno: A little bit of extra butt doesn’t hurt! Seamless, smooth. Carrie Ann: This is a fun bunch. Kirstie, your arms were just a little late. Cha cha is your dance. Great jobs. Hines, you had a little boo boo. Donnie: The spacing between couples is important, little fluffs in teh footwork. Len: Team of girls won the boobie prize (STOP IT LEN). Well done to all of you. Donnie – 7, Carrie Ann – 7, Len- 8, Bruno – 8 – 30 VIDEO

TEAM DANCE TIE!

United States and World Latin Dance Champions, Yulia Zagoryuchenko and Ricardo Cocchi perform! – VIDEO

Luca Baricchi and Shirley Ballas (Mark’s Mom), are training the couples’ individual routines this week.

ABC News update on the death of Osama Bin Laden. Please, real life DO NOT INTRUDE ON MY DANCING FUN PLEEZE.

Chelsea Kane and Mark Ballas – Paso Doble – Mark teaches Chelsea how to make ANGRY FACES. Mark’s mom drops in to help. STOP SMILING says Shirley. Chelsea is the best dancer left. If life were fair, she’d win. Their paso is edgy and passionate. PIA IN THE HOUSE. Len: I got really confused over it. Too much aggression. It lacked refinement. Bruno: The ball breaker! You danced with almost violent intensity. It was like a Quentin Tarretino paso. Carrie Ann: Out with the old, in with the new. Pushing the boundaries. Great job. Donnie: You’re very together. I was a little confused. Instead of a bullfighter I got a biker chick. Donnie – 8, Carrie Ann – 9 Len – 8, Bruno – 9 – 3464 – Mark is annoyed with Len’s critique. – 1-800-868-3401 VIDEO

Kendra Wilkinson and Louis van Amstel – Tango – Luca Baricchi is coaching. I hate to say it, because her personality grates on my nerves–but she’s getting better and better every week. Bruno: You’ve never looked more elegant and ladylike, but you were hanging on to him a little too much. Carrie Ann: I’m so proud of you. Sophistication, elegant, most beautiful expression. Donnie: I thought you did a bloody good job.  Len:  You coped very well with the demanding choreography. Needs to be more crisp. Lift up. – 1-800-868-3407 Donnie – 8 Carrie Ann – 8 Len – 8 – Bruno 7 – 31611-800-868-3407 VIDEO

Kirstie Alley and Maksim Chmerkovskiy – Jive – Shirley is the coach here. Soooo when are they going to start dancing? Ohhh. This is NOT Kirstie’s dance. Lots of clumping around the stage. She needs to stick to the cha cha cha. Lots of comedy thrown into the routine to distract from the bad dancing. Carrie Ann – It wasn’t quite enough of the Jive. You completely went out of sync. Donnie: I buy it. The talent is in between the steps. You fill it with the spirit of who you are. Len: It was fun, it was playful, you act every dance beautifully. As a jive, it was most uneventful. Bruno: As an entertainer, it was superb. Your musicality and your instinct is on the money all the time. Donnie – 9 Carrie 7 Len – 6 Bruno – 8 – 3060 –  1-800-868-3411 VIDEO

United States and World Latin Dance Champions, Yulia Zagoryuchenko and Ricardo Cocchi perform once again. – VIDEO

Ralph Macchio and Karina Smirnoff – Quickstep – Luca coaches the duo. The quickstep is hurting his knees, you wouldn’t know it once he takes the dance floor. Ralph is very light on his feet and FUN. Donnie: You started off vertical and finished off horizontal. It must have been good. Footwork was fabulous. Len: I liked the energy, the footwork was good, needs to be more stable in the upper part of your body. Bruno: That was so vivid, so vibrant. Once you are in the zone you sell it. Carrie Ann: Booya! You’re back. This is they way I want to see you attack the competition. Donnie: 10, Carrie Ann – 9, Len – 8, Bruno – 9 – 3666 –  WOW. – 1-800-868-3408 VIDEO

Hines Ward and Kym Johnson – Tango – Luca coaches. Jerome Bettis comes to visit. Hines needs to loosen up a little. He’s thinking too hard. Otherwise, solid job. Len: It was a mixture, some of it was full of drama, then it was all a bit too dainty for me. Overall, I liked it. Bruno: I like like the way you play it. Big strong, masterful, determined. That was a killer tango. Carrie Ann: You take command of every dance. Tonight, you were a little off balance. Donnie: I think you’ve got a good mentality. Donnie – 9, Carrie Ann – 9 – Carrie Ann – 8, Bruno – 10 – 36661-800-868-3403 VIDEO

Romeo and Chelsie Hightower – Samba – Shirley Ballas come in to coach. Romeo is throwing a samba party in his pants! I was expecting more from that. I lost interest halfway through. Bruno: You can get down and shake it. You’ve got to get the bounce in your leg correctly. Carrie Ann: I don’t know if it was sending the samba message. You have incredible potential. You have to work on your technique. Donnie: You’ve got an earthquake in your shoes–everything you do is crucial. Len: We are at the nitty gritty stage of the competition. You’ve got to up your game. Romeo missed a day of rehearsal. Confusion! Donnie held up an 8 when he meant a 7. Donnie – 7, Carrie Ann – 8, Len – 7, Bruno – 8 – 30601-800-868-3405 VIDEO
