Bluegrass/Punk band Sexfist was performing at the Redline Tap in Chicago when Crystal Bowersox happened to be in attendance and did a lovely rendition of “Crazy” by Patsy Cline.

Even with the extra loud crowd noises, Crystal still sounds fab.

    What a talent. I was not a big fan during Idol, but she is so passionate about her music, you cannot help but be pulled in. Her songs mean something and I hope she’s around for a long time.

    Aww, Crystal seems so happy to be performing. I know we all say about our favorites that as long as they can make a living playing music, that’s fine. With Crystal, I truly believe that, and her passion and joy in singing is infectious. I’d love to see her live.

    How about some Christmas in July? Here, her bassist (Frankie May) is playing Crystal’s Sunflower-strapped guitar. Meanwhile, she’s playing the flute for the first time since her H.S. Band days. It just shows their versatility. And man are they having fun with it.

    Crystal is made of awesome. I love how she gets a little jazzy on the flute. Such a talented artist. LOVE HER!
