Crystal Bowersox, Lee DeWyze and Casey James will be heading home tonight for their hometown visits. Tomorrow will be filled with interviews, parades and special performances from the Top 3. All the while, FOX cameras will be following along, capturing the action. Hometown vids will air on next Wednesday’s results show.

Also, expect the Judges Pick song choices to be revealed–probably during the mid-morning stop each contestant will make at a local AT&T store.

  • I’ll be live blogging all of the fun tomorrow. If you will be attending any of the hometown events, please contact me at mjsbigblog at gmail dot com.  I’d love some photos, vids and eyewitness reports!

Check out the schedules after the jump.  Casey’s isn’t complete yet, so watch for updates. And of course, the schedules are subject to change, so keep checking back…

To me, Lee seems to be everything that they hated about Kris Allen last year. Unshowy and slightly awkward strummy strummy nouveau-folk guitar boy with good looks. I’ll never understand TPTB.

Oh, I didn’t hate Kris Allen last year. I was neutral pretty much when it came to Kris and really didn’t give him much thought other than he is a great looking guy! :) Danny was my favorite, but I didn’t even vote last year so that shows the devotion thereof, and it appeared that Danny and Adam would be top 2, but alas, as so often happens, the one least expected propels through and surprise, surprise. Many twists and turns with top 3. All are blessed to be where they are and have won already! YAY!

JW: I simply hope the best with Casey, as with everyone!

Me too! As I have often said. At the end of the day, it doesn’t effect me one way or the other, but I am so pulling for Casey as he has overcome so much and on top of it I love his music and pickin’. That doesn’t mean I “hate” the others at all. I can’t say enough times that I wish them all the best but that seems to get lost somewhere. :)

PJ:I don’t think it’s a bad thing to be compared to Bo, BTW. Just sayin.

Oh my NO! Did you see that Bo opened his home for the flood victims in Nashville and is playing a charity benefit? I take it as a compliment to compare Casey/Bo. :)

I agree with you that Crystal is not unique and there are many in coffee houses like her. And I agree with your analysis pretty much with respect to the lack of enthusiasm this year. :)

I don’t think any of the top 3 have enough swagger or confidence. Someone mentioned this the other day. They look like they’re so scared, and it’s part of the problem. Lee especially.

I said that the other day. Lee often looks like a deer caught in the headlights to me. Casey doesn’t seem self confident enough to step out of the comfort box and let loose as I personally know he can, and for all her seemingly swagger, Crystal doesn’t exude confidence and the desire to win. I said earlier it may all just come down to a case of nerves and who handles it the best. I don’t see confidence in any of these three as I have seen in prior Idols and I surely don’t see that edge in desire to win!
