Crystal Bowersox – “Eventually” and “Shine” – New Songs!

Crystal Bowersox played a set at 3rd and Lindsley in Nashville, TN, this past Sunday (Dec 4) that included a couple of NEW songs.

“Eventually” finds Crystal exploring some country sounds in varying tempos. The song doesn’t sound quite finished yet…but it’s promising.

“Shine”, my favorite of the tune, is a sweet, sweet ballad.

    When it comes to pure natural talent I think Crystal pretty much stands alone as far as raw simple under produced song writing and singing.That song “shine” is just beautiful. She is going to be on the map for a long time.Way to go mama

    Just beautiful, Crystal.  Her live performances of new songs are so special.  She reaches down into her emotions like so few can do.

    Nice new songs from Crystal.  “Eventually” is a bit too countryish for my taste, but I really like “Shine”.  Just her songs, her voice and a guitar is really all she needs to shine.

    Crystal really does have the most freakin gorgeous quality to her voice. Just beautiful tone. I think the prettiest voice ever on idol. I prefer Eventually out of the two songs. Really nice and different chord changes happening in that song. And I love the unexpected., sweet, chord change. When your ear thinks the song is going to go one way with the next chord–but then it goes another–I  love when that happens. It’s hard to explain what I mean.

    Shine is very nice too–but not as unique in the melody IMO. Still good though and she sings the hell out of it.

    I love Crystal–buy all her music. I wish she would come to my area. Would be there to see her in a heartbeat!

    I really enjoy listening to this woman sing.  It’s too bad her style is not really the current flavor – I’d love to hear more of her out there.

    What I love about Crystal, besides her incredible voice, is she just seems so darned happy.  LOL  She brings a joy to her songs that makes me smile.  I play her cd in my car and find it always makes me feel better than I did before I pushed it in.

    This woman is truly talented.  Her voice is magic. She might not fit the model of what AI success means at this blog, but I don’t care. I’d listen to her all day long.
    And I will buy anything she puts out.

    Eventually seems like it could be a cute song in a tighter version. The other one was on the dull side for me but I do like Crystal’s voice.

    I also love Crystal’s voice.  Not feeling these two songs as much as her first album-I really liked most of the songs on there, especially FD and MAM.

    Looking forward to her EP-isn’t that supposed to be released this or next week?

    And wasn’t she supposed to move to Portland, Oregon?  I assume she is still in Nashville……
