Crystal Bowersox graces the cover of the September issue of Diabetes Forecast, the consumer magazine of the American Diabetes Association.

Here’s an excerpt from the press release:

A Fresh Voice: American Idol runner-up Crystal Bowersox not only learned how to wow the judges during the reality show’s ninth season, but she also discovered the importance of diabetes control. Diabetes Forecast catches up with Bowersox about her struggles of living with diabetes while going through the American Idol experience, how she learned about better managing her health and her desire to spread hope about diabetes through music.

I still see her tv spots for One Touch with blues legend, B.B. King.  Crystal also recently participated in the JDRF Children’s conference in Washington DC.

    Nice to see Crystal as a cover girl. She needs to stay visable and this is a win-win as it also benefits a cause dear to her heart. Love her CD and hope for more music in the future.
