Creeper Simon Cowell Launches New You Tube Talent Competition (VIDEO)

Simon Cowell’s Syco Entertainment and YouTube announced Thursday that they are joining forces to launch a new talent competition titled The You Generation. The global contest is seeking entries from people with “unconventional and original talents”– from musicians and photographers to makeup artists, magicians and chefs.

The contest begins next month and is set to run for a year. It will seek auditions in a different category of talent every two weeks. Hopefuls can upload their work on a public You Tube channel. Syco professionals will judge the entrees.

There will be prizes every two weeks and a grand prize at the end of the year.

    When I saw “Creeper Simon Cowell” in the name of this post, I chuckled. When I actually saw the video, I laughed at how true that title was. Yikes!

    I watched a couple of the “full” auditions. With Reece, it was very brief and Simon said he just thought he would pop by to say hello. Afterwards, Reece said he has no idea who Simon is.

    Idol has not been good since Simon left. He knows talent.
    The judges on idol this year would not know talent if it hit them in the head. One singer is worse than the next

    Sometimes he does. On the other hand, it took him approximately forever to grudgingly admit that maybe Kelly Clarkson was okay, when Paula saw it out of the gate. Whereas he was a passionate champion of Carmen Rasmussen from day one. So I’d say his record is a little spotty. lol

    On the other hand, I do think that over the years his record of making worthwhile comments on contestants’ performances was better, on the whole, than anybody else’s who’s ever sat on the Idol panel. (not, I admit, a high bar to clear…) So that’s something

    I’ll give Simon one thing…. He can certainly make something out of nothing, i.e., One Direction, Cher Lloyd, Olly Murs, etc.,

    Simon is going full throttle. This new idea of his is lame and will a total bust like The X factor US. He has this urge to jump to the next thing. If he was smart he would have never left idol.
