Is the first girl Angie Miller?  She’s my favorite so far.

The last girl was also really good. Looking to be an exciting season!

  • Brittany Keener

I love the first girl and the boy.

    The boy is hot.
    His voice is gorgeous.
Shoot, I’d fangirl over him. dang it.

  • Oldhag

Dear God, that sunshine yellow hair.

  • Jordana33

I’m guessing only one of those singers stands a chance of being the next American Idol.

  • Jason Scott

I LOVE the first girl. I hope she makes it.

That guy is cute…if he can play the guitar, he’ll be the winner. Heh.

  • Caro3278sweet

I’m actually pretty excited about this season. First time in about three years.

I will not invest my emotions in any contestant. I will not invest my emotions in any contestant, repeat over and over.  :)  I’m saving myself for Jan 16th.  I can’t wait.  :)

This guy is Paul Jolley? I have a feeling he could win if he is in the top 10. Good looking+country genre=winner. And we have a country genre judge this season.

  • Incipit

Any one singing country once the show begins, male or female, is mid-card filler for me..but I’ll wait to hear what people sound like on air, what songs they choose, and how well they are able to sell them. Those are the three things I’m listening for.

  • blackberryharvest

I really like Angie Miller(the first girl). Paul(the guy) seems great too! I don’t know who the last girl is, but she seems good too! I think the auditions will end up being better than Season 11’s auditions.

  • fuzzywuzzy

So far, looks promising. I’ve learned that the first audition isn’t always that best indicator of how good someone is, but these 3 sound very good.

  • Erlinda

Yeah that guy is Paul Jolley. He sang one of Keith Urban’s song ” Tonight I Wanna Cry” and “Love Don’t Live Here” by Lady Antebellum. Looks like another country white guy can take AI this year. Paul Jolley has also performed and headlined at the Kentucky Opry in Draffenville, Kentucky for the “Stars of Tomorrow” show for the past six years. He was voted by the audience as the Male Vocalist and Entertainer of the Year. Lol, I think I am going to get stuck with another WGWG, unless a female Kree Harrison gets lucky or Rachel Hale. It’s gonna be a fun year in AI this year for me.

  • CB40

    WGWG wins!

  • fantoo1

Yay these previews get me excited!

  • Miz

Not enough there for me to form any opinion on these 3 yet. Doubtful all of them make top 10.

  • IrisandLilies

Their voices are good, but I’m not hearing any real emotion in their singing.  I wouldn’t tune in to watch AI based on these three singers.

  • John S

Its hard to base it off of less than 5 seconds of singing.

  • IrisandLilies

I do think the snippets AI provided are long enough to judge whether there is emotional depth to these contestants’ singing.  A five-second snippet on an entertainment news show last spring showing Phillip Phillips singing “Volcano” was enough to get me to check out his other performances on AI.

  • Kariann Hart

From the previews MJ has presented and the Premiere presentation on Wednesday, I have to say this is going to be a talented bunch.  I just don’t like the delay in the the voting.

  • Connie

I’ll tune in no matter who is singing. It is, after all, Entertainment. I can’t sing, I can’t dance, so matter who is brave enough to get on here, I know I’ll enjoy it.
