I really wish that other people had the chance to really *know* Constantine. As a reporter for a few Brooklyn publications, Constantine called during his season (from LA to NYC) and stayed on the phone giving an interview for a half hour (it was supposed to be only ten minutes, since he was rushing to record Bohemian Rhapsody for the Queen tribute album) and really was humble and nice during the whole interview. One of the reasons we spoke so long is that he is a crazy baseball fan and that took up part of the conversation.

I then later went to a local minor league baseball game (where he sang the National Anthem) for another interview and he was great. A lot of fans could only get Standing Room Only (it was opening night) and Constantine went over and brought them in to sit with him and his Mom and Brother (nice people) and took pictures with all who came over to him and asked him. He also spoke on cell phones to their kids at home, while *choking* down a hot dog.

Honestly, he deserves all the success that he has received. (and I am not a fangirlie adoring fan) Just a fan of a nice guy with talent. BTW, the National Anthem was great.

Squirrely , I also love musicals both stage productions and films. I usually try to see both of a particular presentation. Dancing is the added bonus. I loved Hair in the stage production! Enjoy! Enjoy!

I didn't see The View, but I did see the Tony Awards, and Constantine was very good. I am happy he has had this success.

On the show, I'd look forward to each week just wondering what Constantine would do. At the time, I considered him to be a "rocker" and enjoyed his performances. Yes, he has done some not-so-nice things, but I find him quite interesting.

My favorite that season was Anthony Fedorov. He has one of the most beautiful voices I have ever heard at an audition (in all 8 seasons). His ballads and National Anthem are some of my favorite performances.

LOL Jon Gosselin is a hero not a douche, anyone that took the shit he took from that control freak and not murder her deserves an award.

I had never heard of them until they announced their divorce. I'm not sure that anyone who has 8 kids and a girlfriend on the side can be considered a hero. Don't know anything about the wife, but the guy had 8 freaking kids with her. If she's that bad, then it's his own damn fault.

Connie, see, there are peeps that make you look relatively good. Relatively.

I have 3rd row tickets on 10/30, I'll report back. I can't resist hair band songs. And I did like him on the show, I liked his voice. But he is a little greasy.

How this guy remains in a business that requires singing is one of life's greatest mysteries. He is not just a tool, he is an untalented tool.

Gotta say, I think Constantine is the biggest douche ever, perhaps more so than Jon Gosselin. But...I saw Rock of Ages a few months ago. He was good. Really good. Of course, they serve alcohol during the show (at your seats!), so perhaps that tainted my review of his performance.

I barely remember Constantine from AI, but I did watch the Tony Awards this year and was shocked at how bad he was. Hopefully, he's better on Broadway, but his performance killed any desire I had to see the show. I'll be in NYC this weekend (thank you work) and I'm planning on seeing Hair and Billy Elliot instead.

Hollywood came knocking for reals, and Con was offered a role to play a character kinda-sorta based on himself in the cheestastic soap opera, The Bold and The Beautiful.

I didn't know he was on BB, and I'm not surprised he acted like an ass MJ - it seems natural to him.

Aw, I'll say a good word for Constantine. He was fun on season 4 and for me, he was the only exciting contestant that year. I loved his "I think I love you" and Bohemian Rhapsody and other songs. Yes I fell for the eye-f*ck, it got me every time. I was sad when he was off the show.

A lot of women were very hot for Connie after the show. Eventually it waned and yes he does have a sleazy side, I wasn't into his "Betty Bitches" thing, but good for him, doing well on Broadway. And, he puts his foot in his mouth now and then, but who doesn't? I'm almost always glad to see ex-Idols doing well. (Someone mentioned scott savol. wonder what happened to him. Now there was someone I could have done without on Idol.)
