CMA 2011 Promo Featuring Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood – VIDEO

Here’s a cute promo for the CMA awards featuring Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood. The premise? After 3 years in a row of co-hosting the awards show, they still have to audition!

Who is their competition? Why, Donnie and Marie Osmond. Uh oh.

Upcoming promos will feature Miss Piggy and the Muppets, so watch for that!

These promo spots are beyond cute.  I love them!  Donny and Marie are a riot.  Just loved Carrie’s “Whatever you say bro.”  LOL!

Brad and Carrie may be hosting the CMA’s for as long as they want to.  What a cute video.  I love Carrie’s expression of surprise when Donny and Marie show-up, and her nonchalant attitude about the requirement to “try-out” saying incredulously, “It’s only a formality.” Funny, funny stuff.  What a creative premise.  The fact that nobody would ever think that Brad and Carrie would have to audition, is what makes this work.

I love that song “Remind me” that Carrie Underwood did with Brad Paisley.  Its melodic and more pop than country.   I’m not a country fan but I like Pop-country that Carrie seems to do.  I like the video for the song too. The way her dress is flowing and in the desert singing to a guy reminds me of a video of “I need you now” by European singer Agnes Carlsson who was winner of idol in Sweden or something.  I like that song and video too even though its euro-dance. Here are the music videos
