I was also touched that David Foster called Clay his brother-in-law. Of course they aren't really--Clay Aiken is not married to Jaymes Foster--but I think it's so sweet that they think of each other that way. Nice family spirit. It wasn't about songwriters or arrangers or musicians--it was just about singing, and Clay's great at it. But beyond country music, you don't see successful recording artists who only sing.
