I liked your re-cap. Michael, little by little is winning over the fans. he said HIMSELF that the fans have made him more open-minded about which genre to pursue and he has said he’s thinkin in going into country. He says he listened because ultimately we’re the ones who will buy the songs. He just LOVES pleasing his fans and i love him for that.

Megan has a quirky voice and is kinda quirky herself so I think the first song she sings suits her well. idnt really like the amy whinehouse song tho. She’s a more laid back kinda singer.

I’ll skip scott. i think he’s doing well on the tour so far.

Lil IS missing something. Its the fact that there is nothing truly “unique” about her voice. Yes she sings really well and has a lot of energy but her voice isn’t special enough to compete with the divas that are in now such as alicia, keysia, beyonce etc etc. I just dont think she’s relatable as an “artist” but thats just my opinion

Anoop. WEll its no secret that I’m a hardcore fan of his. I simply cannot wait for thursday to come around.

I wont comment on everyone else. i want to be surprised when i go see them.

Thanks for this awesome recap! Also, thanks for articulating my frustration with Danny better than I’ve been able to. I tried to be a fan early on, but he lost me quickly for a variety of reasons. I’m going to the Atlanta concert and am bummed to hear they’re still turning the lights down on Adam’s mic lovin’ episodes. Rats, lol. Can’t wait for “Starlight”. Oh and “I just love you” was the perfect thing to say. I doubt I could form a coherent syllable!

Well, long before this review, I was thinking that maybe Danny should just go out naked! I mean, only if he wants to avoid the appearance of emulating everyone from Elvis to MJ to Mariah to Domingo. In order to establish his own identity, he needs to avoid looking as if he’s copying someone else’s. And in order to do that, he needs to do something that no one else has ever, ever done. So, maybe the naked look plus flaming sword swallowing whilst keyboarding along to PYT with his toes.
‘Course, he’s gotta avoid actually looking like he’s trying to avoid looking like he’s emulating anyone else.

Just to be on the safe side, I suggest that he yodel instead of singing lyrics. And why in the hell has someone not yet told Anoop to cut it out with the sexy dancing. Such a poseur. (I’m just kidding, I adore Adam but there absolutely are some comic elements to enjoy about fandom!).

Nice recap Christina, and I do think it’s very cool that you got to see Adam in person. I agree that he is a very lovable person and I’m sure it makes him very happy to hear it from his fans!

Scott ‘â€œ blew me away! Vocally so so strong and MUCH better than anything heard during the show. He’s relaxed and delivers his songs really well and the sound was great for him. I played piano as a child so I have much respect and love for piano players like he and Matt and I loved how much it was used in the show

oh my lord. I NEED THAT PURSE! It’s a thing of beauty. And I love your words to Adam as they wouldve been the same words out of MY mouth. Except they most likely wouldve been followed by,”and I think you are the sexiest thing in existance.” and then after I realized what I had just said I wouldve hit myself in the face with my palm. I can’t wait for August 28th! Though I’m going with my mom and it may be hard for me to convince her to let me stay back after the show to catch Adam. But I will convince her, even if it means she gets dibs on my kidneys. I would bet you anything that if Adam is able to hypnotize me into an unresponsive pile of mush, meeting him in person will turn my brain into a swimming pool of grey matter and my mouth will hang open. Then drool will begin to drip down my chin and I will pass out, forcing medics to wake me up in the back of an ambulance. And when they ask what happened, oh boy won’t that be a story to tell. I simply cannot wait.

We stood for all of his songs – during Starlight and Mad World we were swaying and holding up glow sticks.

The first real all crowd dance was when Allison came out. While the crowd was very enthusiastic for ALL of them, there was still an obvious level of SQUEAL for Adam and an overall much more dancing, on your feet the whole time sequence for him. I think we were all totally spent when Kris came out and it was really lovely to sit down and listen to him serenade us. We stood up again for Hey Jude and stayed up for Dont Stop Believing.

I’m a huge Adam fan too from Rancho Bernardo and couldn’t see him in San Diego this weekend, so I had to go to Staples Center last Thursday. How was the San Diego audience? Was it obvious that he was the hometown boy? Although LA also went crazy for Adam with tons of screaming, they were also really supportive and cheering for most of the performers… Danny Gokey had a huge following as did Chris and Allison. People really started dancing with Anoop and then tended to stand up and dance to the fast songs or sit down for the slow songs through the rest of the show. People in my section even sat down for Mad World, which annoyed me a bit, although everyone stood up for the rest of Adam’s set. Just wondered if the San Diego audience really showed Adam how much we love and support him…

Also, how did Adam tell people to get up and dance at the start of the last Bowie song? In LA, he said: “You’d better get up out of your seats… bitches… Dance!!!!”

Unfortunately she might get in a ton of trouble if she tried to sell those purses since those photos are probably copyrighted. She would have to get permission to use them in a money-making venture.

I think, that if she uses the actual magazine covers as they were originally produced and sold, then no copyright issues should be involved. A reproduction however would constitute infringement. I could be wrong though.
