Pop star Christina Aguilera had the very special honor of performing at the funeral of blues legend, Etta James.
The Voice coach performed Etta’s classic “At Last”. And although Christina has never met a note she didn’t want to melisma the crap out of, her performance was very heartfelt and soulful.
Hm. If it were me choosing funeral attire, I’d keep the puppies tucked in.
The funeral was held today at the Greater Bethany Community Church City of Refuge, in Gardena, Calif. Stevie Wonder also performed and Al Sharpton read a personal note written by President Barack Obama.
