It was Lady Gaga’s idea that Christina Aguilera join her on stage to sing “Do What U Want” in lieu of R. Kelly (who practically molests her on stage when they duet. Ew) who is featured on the single.
The two kind of sort of turn the performance into an ode to lady love. Or at the very least, girl power! The performance was a little awkward at times, but I dug watching these two powerhouse pop stars collide on stage.
The two had never met before. Afterward, Christina gushed “I’ve been waiting to meet her. She’s such an innovative artist, a risk taker. And as a fellow female, I have so much respect for that!”
Christina also called Gaga the most “down to earth and real person I’ve ever met in this business.”
“I love you girl!” said Christina.
ETA: I Totally forgot the little twitter tiff Gaga had with Adam Levine. He took a shot at her. Read it HERE. I said she wouldn’t be on The Voice anytime soon. Guess I was wrong!
