Ugh, it’s like something from a Stephen King novel ……or some weird morality tale. Same thing? Anyway Chris sweetie, you are a somewhat attractive man, when you are properly groomed. This look is skeery! However, I am sure your fans are just waiting for the new music. Get to it!

Sheesh, I really like beards, but that one is too scary! The camera angle doesn’t help him much either. He does deserve whatever kind of break he wants after 2 years on the road though. S’pose he’ll let it grow out to a ZZ Top length? :smile2_ee:

Hope he gets some uninterrupted time to work on his album now.

yeah I’m thinking the grizzly look works as a nice disguise while he’s out and about :laugh_tb: I’m guessing he’ll shave it off by the time they play one of the inauguration (sp?) balls. It’s awesome he finally has the time to do whatever he wants for a while. I was hoping for a little more definitive info on the album. I realize it’s best to take time and get it right but I’m dying to hear something…anything!! (must stop being so selfish and thing about what’s good for the band haha) The one good thing about him being on break is that he takes the time to update us often…love that.

I don’t think that Nickelback, Daughtry, and David Cook all sound the same, anymore than all black people look the same. It’s simply a matter of listening to the cds beyond a cursory listen. I especially don’t think DC sounds like Daughtry or NB at all.

It’s a funny picture, Chris is clowning for the webcam, it’s distorted and he’s making a funny face. I don’t see how he looks like DC.

I don’t get it. So he decides to take a break from shaving so he grows a beard? But he’s not taking a break from shaving. He’s still shaving his head (unless he’s gone completely bald in the last two years). LOL. Why doesn’t he just say he’s doing the Samson thing with his beard (like all those dudes during the hockey play-offs), but he’d look like Grizzly Adams The Banker if he didn’t keep shaving his head?

Heh. Last time at work when we changed our ID badges and had to get new photos, a bunch of the male staff grew beards just for the pictures (and shaved them off the next day).

I wonder what he would look like with a full head of hair.

I highly doubt Chris is up to date on David Cook’s facial hair :laugh_tb: the guy is just a goof ball. Once my brother and his co workers had a mustache contest to see who could grow the bushiest mustache and not shave it the longest…my bro lost due to a family wedding and my mother was going to disown him if he showed up with it. I was thinking the same thing about shaving though…is it that much trouble to add the face while shaving the head?? lol The drummer Joey has grown a porn mustache…I’m curious what kind of stuff the other 3 have done with their facial hair??

For anyone who is a casual fan and interested…the band has performed a few new songs while they were on tour in early 2008, here are 2 that they played often and I’m hoping will make the cut for the next album, these are old news for those that keep up with them but like I said for those that don’t….
