Cee Lo Green and Jordin Sparks in New ‘Sparkle’ Music Video

Check out a new preview of the movie “Sparkle” which stars American idol Season 6 winner, Jordin Sparks in the title role. The Voice judge, Cee Lo Green lays down a soulful groove in a performance of “I’m a Man” that is cut with scenes from the movie.

The late Whitney Houston  plays the mother of three girls who form a singing group that rises to the top of the charts. But once they get there, it’s not all champagne and roses.

It’s Whitney’s last role before her death, so I’m sure that will be a big draw to theater-goers.  The film opens on August 17. It’s Jordin’s big screen debut. I’m keeping my fingers crossed for the reviews.

    Jordin was with Aretha Franklin at the premire of “Sparkle” in Royal Oak, MI.  She looked very pretty and was bubbly as ever.  “How could we not have the premiere here?  This is where it all began with the girl groups.”  Aretha says she’s no longer interested in being a judge on American Idol.  I am anxious to see how Jordin does in the movie!
