Tonight, Lady Gaga will perform with the dance group LXD (Check out the trailer for their new webshow HERE).

Next week’s guest judges will be actress Christina Applegate and choreographer Lil’ C. Next week’s All-Stars are: Kent Boyd, Jaimie Goodwin, Pasha Kovalev, Janette Manrara, Ellenore Scott and tWitch.

I posted the news in another thread that next week’s musical guest on the results show will be American Idol’s Pia Toscano.

Check out the trailer for Season 3 of The Legion of Extraordinary Dancers, commonly known as LXD. The series is written, directed, and produced by Jon Chu, and brings comic book-like characters to life in battles of good and evil, all told through the medium of dance.

Glee’s Harry Shum Jr is a performer and choreographer for the group. Harry oversaw the performances when the troupe opened for the Glee tour this summer.

Ratings: So You Think You Can Dance, America’s Got Talent Stay Steady

America’s Got Talent was steady versus last week with a 2.7 adults 18-49 rating, though that ties its summer low. So You Think You Can Dance was also steady with a 2.0 adults 18-49 rating.

Thursday Ratings: Univision Wins The Night

Thanks to a 3 hour awards show, Univision (1.8) edged out CBS (1.7) for the highest rating of the night.

Ricky Martin, Pitbull and Daddy Yankee were among those who performed or accepted awards at Univision’s Premios Juventud. 4.1 million tuned in to watch the youth awards show.

So You Think You Can Dance fell 1/10 of a point from last Thursday, but stayed steady.

The So You Think You Can Dance Season 8 tour begins in Orlando FL on Saturday September 17.

The Season 8 dancers going on tour are Caitlynn Lawson, Clarice Ordaz, Jess LeProtto, Jordan Casanova, Marko Germar, Melanie Moore, Mitchell Kelly, Ricky Jaime, Sasha Mallory and Tadd Gadduang.

Neil Patrick Harris, will join Mary Murphy and Nigel Lythgoe on the So You Think You Can Dance judges panel this week! Hooray.

Last week, the permanent pairings came to an end. Tonight, the Top 10 will draw a fellow dancer out of a hat for one dance. For the second, they will perform with a SYTYCD All-Star alum! Check out the spoilers for this week here.

Contemporary dancers, Alexander Fost and Ryan Ramirez took questions from reporters today after being eliminated from So You Think You Can Dance last night. Here are highlights from today’s satellite conference call.

The think I found most surprising? Alexander was listed as a contemporary dancer, but he’s a ballet performer. His hardest dance style was…contemporary! Poor guy.
