Thanks for posting this!  Casey looks and sounds so good! Do I note a new guitar?  I loved the short but great bluesy riffs.  (Still waiting, patiently, for him to tour in the SF Bay area again……)

First time I ever heard this song, I LOVE it and Casey, thank you :)

This was a great performance of COAS. People generally dont realize how difficult it is to sing this correctly.

I’m not a country fan, but I love this catchy song and admire Casey’s huge musical skills.

Great job Casey.  Lookin good as usual.

Where’s the rest of the band? And gee, Mr. James sure does like that grey shirt. LOL.

It continues to astonish me how comfortable the guy is on stage compared to the AI show. Night and day.

Best Season 9 contestant. Hands down.

That was a flawless performance and a testament to Casey’s amazing talent and killer live performances! It’s not easy to get up on the Opry stage and pretty much lay down a live performance that rivals the studio recording.  Especially on a wordy song that’s sung with that kind of cadence.  Standing ovation over here!

I believe the Opry limits the number of musicians you are allowed to bring in.  They have their own house band that accompanies most performances.  I believe last time Casey brought Blaine (drummer) and David (steel).

I agree about the huge change between the AI Casey and the one we see here.  I think that with Kara acting like a cat in heat, and Simon constantly mocking that fact and Casey himself, he never stood a chance of getting comfortable and letting us see him during the run of the show.

He’s definitely my favorite from Season 9, and probably top 5 from all seasons.  I’m glad to see him doing well, and hope it continues for a long time, and that he’ll be one of the long term success stories.

Anyway, great song and great performance.

I loved that video!!!!I hope he releases another single from his cd.but I also can’t wait for his 2nd cd.

Thanks for the video.  Casey looked totally comfortable on the Opry stage.  He just goes quietly about his business, working hard and getting good results.  Love that about him.  He’s earned every bit of his success.

Hope he comes back to the west coast soon.

Very nice. Great musician. Nice to see him succeed.

Damn he is hot.  Oh my, how can he be even hotter than I remember?  Great guitar player, I wish him all the success in the world!

  • tierbee

Makes me smile to see him just quietly doing his thing – happy for him every time I hear him on the radio. This was great :)

  • Liteasy

1-1/2 hours of Casey James last night was awesome!  It was worth watching two other groups first and 5 hours on my feet!

  • standtotheright

That was fun. Glad he’s doing well for himself.

  • epic_win77

I can’t get enough of COAS. I think the song is just too much fun to sing – tongue twistin’ matched with out-of-breath pacing can be intense but fun nonetheless :)

And oh, of course Mr. CaseyJ can pull it off well. Hot looks, hot voice. He’s a joy to watch.

I purchased Casey’s CD a while ago and put it on my ipod and listen to it all the time. Just love Casey and his bluesy voice. Was my favorite on season 9. He’s still hot, hot, hot.
