Casey James is gearing up for the release of his self titled debut album on March 20th by debuting a video for an acoustic version of his song “Drive” on VEVO. He’s also still on the road performing for radio stations, and recently debuted a new song that will appear on his album. Check out lots of video, after the jump.

Casey debuted a video for his song “Drive” today on VEVO, and it’s more than just an acoustic performance of the song. Let’s just say they chose their setting and props appropriately!

Casey James recently performed a showcase of new music for Indianapolis radio station HANK 97.1 FM. Check out HQ videos of those performances here, including a new song called “Working On It”, one of only 2 songs on his debut album that he didn’t cowrite. “Workin On It” is cowritten by Bob DiPiero, Brandon Kinney, and Daniel Tashian.

“Workin On It”

“Never Walk Away” (which will not appear on Casey’s debut album)

“Let’s Don’t Call It A Night”

“The Good Life”

“Miss Me When I’m Gone”

“She’s Money”

I am really glad he is putting out a CD – I liked him best during his season and had hoped he would succeed.  I will for sure buy this.  I have a Carrie, two for Scotty (he is still my favorite) and I did buy and am enjoying Kellie Pickler’s – my favorite from Casey J so far is Miss Me When I’m Gone – love it

I barely watched S9 and didn’t hear about Casey James. He’s certainly got IT. Love his guitar playing! And he writes most of his songs on his upcoming album? Wow I’m impressed. Seems really talented. His good looks don’t hurt either …

Yep, Taro. CJ wrote 9 of the eleven songs on the upcoming album and co-produced it too – which is fairly rare for an AI alum. And what’s even more remarkable to me is that there are tons of songs he’s rolled out over the last few months that he’s written with big time peeps like Oscar Winner Tom Davis, Alabama’s Randy Owen and Delbert McClinton that aren’t even included in the album.
