Carrie Underwood’s “Blown Away” Sells More than 1 Million

Carrie Underwood’s “Blown Away” single, the title track from her latest album, has officially crossed the 1 million downloads mark this week.

According to Roughstock.com, a website that compiles country music chart information, “Blown Away” moved 62,000 units this week, pushing the song into platinum territory for a total of 1,0004,000 downloads.

    You know what? Carrie could fart for 5 minutes and radio would play it. I just don’t understand how come some people get the magic carpet and others with more talent get nothing.

    I like that this song is basically a sped-up murder ballad. It’s in my top 2 of all her singles.

    Carrie is in a unique place as she has very little competition in her field.  She also has loyal fans (pretty much all the country fans) buy music.   Kudos to her and them.

     Carrie ain’t no joke! She sells millions like it ain’t nothing. Haters gon’ hate – that’s their job. Carrie’s job – and she has accepted it -  is to keep on kicking ass and racking up boffo sales and awards… her job sounds pretty sweet to me :)

    On the real, she and Kelly are in a league all their own. They are bonafide superstars, have long track records of being able to consistently move units and keep the fickle interest of the mainstream public. Well done Carrie, well done!

    I would not have expected less from her. Carrie is an ultimate performer and one of the greatest singers on this planet. And of course the negative people will all show thier ugly faces here. sad but true. Congrats Carrie, well deserved.
