Check out performances from Carrie Underwood on this morning’s Today Show Summer Concert Series. She performed her new single, “Blown Away”, plus “Good Girl” and “Before He Cheats.” Host Matt Lauer interviewed her before she hit the stage.

Carrie is donating 1 dollar from each of her fall concert tickets to the American/Canadian Red Cross. The tour kicks off in New Hampshire on September 14.

The American Idol season 4 winner also appeared on the VH1 Big Morning Buzz, where she announced that she is set for VH1 Behind the Music and Unplugged specials.

    Thanks MJ for adding the VH1 interview. At first I thought there was going to be an energy gap between the host and Carrie U but Carrie U was actually pretty funny and the whole thing was fun to watch. 

    Kariann Hart: I also noticed her songs seemed more pop than country.   

    They are on one end of her current album. On the other end of her album, it doesn’t get much countrier than Leave Love Alone, Cupid’s Got A Shotgun, and Wine After Whiskey. In between it’s mostly a country/pop mix :)
