It was a BIG night at the CMA Awards for Carrie Underwood!
The American Idol season 4 winner not only co-hosted (11 different outfits!) with Brad Paisley for the 8th consecutive year, BUT she performed her latest single, “Dirty Laundry,” took part in an all-star Dolly Parton tribute AND won Female Vocalist of the year for the FOURTH time! Carrie broke Miranda Lambert’s six-year long streak and was grateful and teary as she accepted her award.
Carrie was up for four trophies, including Entertainer of the Year. She lost out to Garth Brooks. However, it was her first ever nomination in the category, so maybe next time!
