Carrie Underwood on ‘How I Met Your Mother’: More Photos!

How I Met Your Mother star, Neil Patrick Harris tweeted a photo of Carrie Underwood decked out as a mod 60′s stewardess for an upcoming episode of the show.

Now, CBS has posted official photos of the episode, and the full effect of Carrie, in her knee high patent-leather boots, pale blue mini-dress is, and groovy up-swept do, is quite hilarious.

The episode does not have an air date yet, but Zap2it reports that the the show’s creators Carter Bays and Craig Thomas said earlier this month that it will likely air in March.

In the episode, called “Hooked”, Carrie plays Tiffany who catches the eye of Barney (Neil Patrick Harris).

“What makes her even more intriguing,” the creators say, “is the fact that she’s a pharmaceutical rep, or Pharma Girl, which according to Barney [Neil Patrick Harris] has replaced nurses and stewardesses to become the Official New Profession of Hot Chicks.”

Carrie wrote enthusiastically about the experience in a blog post on her website, “I have officially decided that I’m giving up the music business,” she said,”I’m going to become a professional sitcom actress!”

She was kidding of course.

    Love the pictures! Carrie looks great and I’m so glad she’s getting to do a scene with NPH. But MJ despite these pics with NPH I’m pretty sure Carrie’s main storyline is actually with Ted (Josh Radnor) – that’s what the original article said anyway. This little E News clip shows Carrie’s character flirting with Ted.

    Speaking of pictures tonight Carrie is attending the Sens Soiree, the Ottawa Senators’s annual fundraiser to support a variety of charities, including the Children’s Hospital of East Ontario and Roger’s House. She’s there with her fiance Mike Fisher. The local Ottawa media, or at least CTV Ottawa, went nuts about this and reported this as breaking news LOL.

    According to that article People paid $50k to be at the event and get the rights to the 1st official picture of Carrie and Mike. Awesome that the 1st picture of Carrie and Mike will raise money for such great causes. Us Magazine sent a photographer too.

    Awesome pictures, she looks great!! I normally don’t watch this show but I am a fan of many of the actors on it. I thought I read somewhere that she would be a love interest for Ted (the main guy telling his kids how he met their mother…); but I guess she still could turn out to be his type and not Barney’s? Who knows, I hope she has awesome chemistry with them and they ask her back.

    Also pretty cool if the mags do pay for the first official photo of newly engaged Carrie and Mike and have the cash go to charity. Sorta like Brangelina putting their kids on the cover & donating a hefty portion of the payout to charity. Pretty good company to be in! <3 Carrie!
