What a trooper. I was backstage at the Opry and you could see Carrie clearly coughing, while doing interviews and signing autographs.

Honestly these were great vocals, even though she was not 100%. She continues to impress even when under the weather!

Yeah, I could tell that she’s sick, but even then, she still sounds amazing. No denying that the girl can SANG.

apparently she also sang The First Noel, but i guess they didn't air that performance because it was very obvious that she was ill. luckily someone in the audience recorded that performance and can be viewed on youtube. i personally LOVED it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hFo01H2NLRQ
