Certainly, Kris has fans!! I lived with two of them who treated me, “fan of Adam” as if
I was slightly…Ummm….”special.” So the difference between us is, I, also, am a fan of
Kris…..wonderful musician,singer, and artiste!! But, Adam is even more special!!
And , I have to admit, I, also, adore Allison, “Baby Rocker.”

There is no truer barometer of Idol success than the amount we are willing to pull out of our pockets for singles, albums, etc.
For me, I will buy everything of ADAM,kRIS and some of Allisons singles or more!
And I would be very interested in Matt should he get signed which he proves he does
deserve, IMHO!!!

Wonderful that you enjoyed the show and your fave(s) (which are my faves), did well, as well as others. As an Adam stan I too worry about whether I will like his album, it really could go either way. Not that it will prevent me from pre-ordering, please. I’m a stan, of course I will. I will flip with you and see what Kris and Allison produce before I buy something, but I’m really hoping for some good stuff from both.

Oh and I enjoyed the pictures as well, so thanks for sharing.

I never thought I would write a recap, but since these recaps are what made me go and get my ticket and enjoy the show now matter what, I felt I owed it to others that were also maybe a little bit undecided to tell my story and have you go, because you will not regret it!

For those of you that identified with me, thanks… and if you are questioning if we are crazy, the answer is NO, I think we just enjoy life no matter what and we shouldn’t hold back, that’s what I learned from this experience and thanks to many other recaps I realized that I had nothing to loose. I just wished I had done this sooner. I’ve been trying to squeeze another concert before the finale, but work and some business trips are not making this work :sad_wp:

I like that so many people like Queen, my favorite song of all times is Bohemian Rhapsody, I remember I was 6 years old, living in Glasgow, Scotland (I’m from Venezuela) and suddenly I see on TV this group were everybody was all dressed up, make up and singing WOW, I fell in love. Besides BR being my fav song of all times, I can’t pick a favorite Queen song after that, it’s to hard!!! But I would love to hear Adam sing Somebody to Love, Kris sing Save Me or Play the Game, Matt sing Crazy Little thing called Love and Allison Don’t stop me know.

I was worried that Kris did not smile during the signing and I was also surprised since it’s completely different from what I had read.

I wonder about the stress he’s under….people have commented about the hair “issue”( A sign of stress), and I saw some recent video of him signing things…he did not smile or hardly speak. He looked totally exhausted.

At the beginning of the tour he looked really happy to be there, now I think it may be a different story. He’s also got the single coming out “soon”, they are probably trying to cram in a lot of last minute work. I have high hopes for Kris’s future, but I’m a little worried that this debut album may be a patched together “rush” job. I hope not, it’s not like he hasn’t surprised us before!

you see him live each word, each note and I wonder how does he do it night after night after night.

I first noticed him when he made it to the Top 12, I can’t resist an underdog and I won’t lie, it wasn’t his singing or performance that got me at first, it was his face when he made thru, he could not believe it, I loved it, after that when he sang To Make you Feel my Love, he won my heart and when he did Ain’t no Sunshine I said, he is ‘IT’ .

His singing got me at first, but I was the same as you, I loved his reactions when he was voted through.

I enjoyed your recap. I wasn’t sure I wanted to go to a concert since I was never interested. But, seeing how excited and glad you were that you went I’m glad I decided to go. And I’m not going to miss the opportunity to see Adam live!

I, also, love Freddy Mercury and Queen. I have to add Bowie to my list, also. I love Queen’s “Greatest Hits I” cd. I listen to it in my car alot. I can’t pick a favorite song–they’re all so good! I find my self thinking….Adam could really do these songs. There is only one “Freddy” but I’d love for Adam to do a ‘tribute’ tour with Queen some day. I agree with your statement:

Loved your recap caro and I agree with everything you said. Freddie Mercury is my all time favorite male singer too and I agree Adam is the embodiment of everything I loved about freddie.

I, too, will buy anything and everything Kris puts out. Some of the others, I’ll wait & judge when the music comes out. I’m much more of a Danny fan than you, but bonus points for you that you tried!
