I think that is just a life thing more than a career thing. It happens to all of us. But even if the tour is still only a little over a month behind us, I do think it's a good sign that most of them seem to genuinely like each other enough to want to keep in touch. Granted I'd imagine those of them that will be using LA as their homebase will probably have an easier time of it as to the hanging out aspect. At the very least I expect to hear very little badmouthing among this group. Most of them seem too nice for their own good. I expect that these kids (AI7 folks) will find it harder to keep in touch over time. I think that is just a life thing more than a career thing. It happens to all of us. Melinda/LaKisha/Jordin/Blake/Chris seemed like a really tight group during and right after the tour, for example, and so did Fantasia/J-Hud/George. But then they tend to go their own ways a little, especially if some are more successful than others or older, married, living in LA, hitting Hyde, etc. Season 5 may be the best example. During the season and the tour, Taylor/Elliott/Ace/Daughtry/Bucky seemed really tight, with Paris and Lisa another little group (being the Young Ones), Katharine and Kellie pals for awhile but not really sticking because Katharine kind of bad-mouthed Kellie and also didn't go on the first bunch of tour dates, and Mandisa seemed friendly with everybody, but maybe not best friends with anyone, or maybe I just don't know. During the tour, especially, all the boys seemed to go out partying (or just eating, whatever) together in different cities, as well as showing up at Taylor's band's side gigs. Paris and Lisa were too young for that, not sure what Kellie was doing, and Mandisa wasn't the type. But afterwards, Taylor has not seemed to stay as tight with any of them, Elliott stayed close to Ace and Chris, but maybe not Bucky so much, and Kellie has palled up with Carrie Underwood, who isn't from her season. I'm not sure how much their romantic relationships have to do with things, either. Elliott and Bucky both lost their SOs after their seasons, and Chris's wife and Bucky's wife seemed to be fairly close, so maybe the fact that Bucky dumped his didn't endear him to Chris's wife. And in the example of this season, the fact that Brooke and Carly and Michael are all married, with Jason, Chikieze, Kristy, Ramiele and Syesha in long-term relationships, may make all of them hanging out easier, plus Carly seems to have bonded with Cook's girlfriend, which has to help, too.
