Carly Smithson and We Are The Fallen Release First Single, ‘Bury Me Alive’ February 2

Season 7 Idol, Carly Smithson and her band, We Are the Fallen will release their first single, “Bury Me Alive” to digital outlets on Tuesday February 2.

Those of us who signed up for the band’s newsletter back in June received the single for free. If you missed out on that deal you’ll have to pony up the dollar or so to download it on the 2nd.

The band, made up of original Evanescence members, Ben Moody and John LeCompt along with drummer Rocky Gray and bassist Marty O’Brien will head out on the road with Norwegian rockers HIM for a 28 city tour, beginning on 3/7 in Philadelphia, PA.

We Are the Fallen’s full length album is due out later this year.

    Fabulous. I got this song when their website gave it away and it’s playing on my iPod as we speak. I love it and find myself singing it without my iPod!

    Carly, Carly, Carly! I’m still leading the cheers from her Idol run. I love her voice and wish her and the band much success. I already have the single but it is a good song and should be a winner for them.

    Except that its a different longer and remixed version that sounds better. The radio edit is streaming on their site and has been on regular rotation on XM and Sirius for the last 2 weeks.

    I’m so excited for this band after being a long time Evanescence fan and caught by the Carly bug during S7 Idol, it’s a great blend of talent. Even better is to see them in intimate venues during their new start. Who the heck is HIM? lol
