I really liked Mitchell from Cape Breton. Will be interesting to see if he makes it into the Top 22.

Duke, I’m surprised anyone would still use the arguments that “so-and-so would not have a shot on AI” and “Simon would never allow”, after seeing the likes of Sanjaya Malakar, Kristy Lee Cook, Kevin Covais, Mikalah Gordon, John Stevens and Carmen Rasmussen in the AI top 12 year after year.

Of course, we’ve only seen a fraction of those that made it to this year’s top 200 round. We’ll see who actually makes it to top 22.

I started watching the CI auditions last night and I’m enjoying it. I don’t really remember the names yet, but I like some people already. I am going to follow the show now, too. Thanks for the videos, mj (and igrecman).

I have a feeling we haven’t seen some of the best contestants yet. They seemed to show a disproportionate number of bad auditions this year.
