Sorry, that wasn’t meant as a knock against you. I listen to a lot of music other than Idols, just very little of it is pop. I can’t help but snark on the Spice Girls. Thanks for the correction.

I had a dream with Mookie in it last night. I was hanging out with him in his apartment. He was still a struggling musician but clearly the kid made a subconscious impression on me, so I’m predicting we haven’t seen the last of him.

Theo for me has always been the best singer; I agree that his performances aren’t always the best, but I think he can grow into that. I’ve always liked Drew, but he’s only wowed me a handful of times all season. I don’t think that’s enough to win, but I wouldn’t be horrified if he did. Mitch, on the other hand … I think this comment up-thread captured exactly what those final comments by the judges were all about (otherwise, they’re smoking dope, not helium!):

Maybe they know heÃƒ ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢s running away with the votes and theyÃƒ ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢re trying to make it seem palatable.

I knew it would be pretty dull w/o Mookie and Earl, but I didn’t know how dull until I watched it this week…

I really hope Theo wins…Drew is alright but he bores me, and Mitch is…well, Mitch. Wouldn’t be surprised if he won the whole thing though…..

If one could put Theo or Drew’s voice in Mookie’s body and watch Mookie perform, this would be an easy pick, but, what’s that you say? The Mook is gone? Oh well, so much for that thought.

Video did kill the radio star as they say. I just can’t see Theo in a video, unless they handcuff his legs to the piano and let other people act out the video. Guy cannot move at all.

I can’t see Mitch in anything. Sorry, but redeemed himself in the second song? Did they share the helium with him? I could have sworn he had all the helium available. Yeah, his voice is identifiable, but why would you want to listen to it long enough to identify it?

IMO, Drew is the perfect compromise out of the final three, great voice, good to look at for a video or a concert. Now if Zach would wear only two coats of mascara instead of four, maybe he wouldn’t be in such a foul mood, could see better, and wouldn’t hate on Drew so much.

Drew FTW!!!!!.

PS: Still wondering why Earl was so out of it last week????

mitch is really making the show look bad…when you have a top 3 and mitch is in it? he was brutal tonight and has been every night…drew has had ok moments and maybe one great moment when he hit the note while singing creep…tonight was ok…Theo’s “heaven” was the only performance that could possibly be in a top 3…the only performance that was decent….I guess the elimination of Oliver Piggot set the tone for this years Canadian Idol. The top 3 is a joke….if Theo doesn’t win…which I expect he won’t…it will cap off a ridiculous season

I couldn’t even make it all the way through these videos. For me it’s just not the same without Earl and Mookie! Drew always sounds great and looks great but rarely resonates with me. I hope Theo wins. He’s been his own artist from the start and given more than one “wow” performance for me.

For me, Theo clearly delivered the best performances. His nerves were showing some so his self-confidence (and vocal strength) slipped a bit here and there, but overall solid performances. I think that the reason that Elton John comparisons are made is that his piano playing is similiar to Elton’s.

I still feel that Drew doesn’t have a well-defined persona. His voice is ok but lacks ownership. I usually feel (similiar to Zack) that he’s playing at someone instead of becoming the song.

And Mitch. What can I say? His voice is not pleasant to my ears. And there were a couple of times that he held notes off-key. Ouch. I completely agree with the judges that hearing him play angry just was not believable, although it did change his tone for the better.

I am LMAO at the sign “Don’t be a B*tch vote for Mitch!” LOL… I couldn’t believe all the people their for Mitch, I guess he does have a lot of support. His second song wasn’t too bad.

Theo was great! I love both of his performances and I hope he is in the finale, shocker would be if he didn’t make it. I like it when he walks around a little bit in the second song.

Drew was ok in the first song but the band did overpowered him a little. The second song wasn’t that good at all.

I don’t know how the votes are going tomorrow, CI is unpredictable. Good luck to all three of them but I hope Theo wins the whole thing.
