Watch American Idol winner, Caleb Johnson, perform a cover of Nirvana’s 90s classic, “Heart Shaped Box” with YouTube star, Marie Digby.
The performance took place recently, live, at YouTube LA. You can thank the label, Interscope, for the performance. At least they are trying a little to promote Caleb and his debut album, Testify.
These two don’t really have a connection and the performance as a whole is missing the required angst. The grunge era isn’t really all that Caleb-friendly. Well, maybe he’d be better suited to a Pearl Jam song.
