Watch Simon Cowell and Britney Spears in these new interviews with ET and Access Hollywood. Simon talks about charming Britney in their first phone call. Simon whines more about NBC putting The Voice up against the X Factor premiere and insists that Brit is a tough judge.

Britney claims she and The Voice coach, Christina Aguilera are really good friends. Hm. OK!

    Britney was having tons of fun at that press junket last night (where these interviews took place). I love her new blue hair streaks too! Lol, Britters really does not seem happy about The Voice situation, lol.

    Goodness, I can’t wait for this stupid show.  And I hated it last year!  I still secretly wish it was Simon, Britney, Demi, and Randy on Idol though.  

    Also, this is the first time I’ve seen Britney act like a human with a clear head in a really long time. Happy for her.

    I had no time to watch X Factor last year (and wasn’t thrilled with the judging panel – especially Nicole).  But this year I am really intrigued.  I grew up with Britney, have enjoyed Demi when I’ve caught her stuff (she’s an enjoyable actress and has some fun songs).  Super psyched to see them rock the panel. :)

    Am still a lil confused by contradictory reports on Britney’s absence from the judge’s table during that first day: unsure whether she was simply taking a break as she says in these interviews (Simon backs this version up as well, at least here) or was having a panic attack as has been reported elsewhere…   Guess it doesn’t really matter as by all accounts she seems to have adjusted well.  I do hope this experience does prove to be a great one for her!

    Was Britney always like this?? She appears very shy,almost like maintaining a cringe face everytime. I was big fans of her back in the earlier days. I’ve never watched her interview post meltdown. I don’t know whether she’s always like this or not.

    She has been for years, yeah. I think she has a bit of Michael Jackson syndrome where she thinks people are always trying to take advantage of her or something.

     I hope she can stay strong throughout this X Factor season. Although I’m not a fan of her music right now but I still wish her the best. Afterall,she’s a part of my teenager years memories. :)
