Bo Bice Set to Release Live Album in March, Studio Album by the End of ’09

In between sips of eggnog, I managed to post a few headlines on Christmas Day.   One article was this interview with Bo Bice from Blogcritics.org.   Bo talks about the long road he had getting his health back after 3 surgeries, touring with Todd Rundgren and Christopher Cross singing Beatles’ songs last summer, and other cool stuff.

Bo also mentions that he’s working on some new music for ’09:

I’m excited to get back out this next year. We’ve got a new live CD that’s coming out. We’re going to have it out March or April. It also has four new studio tracks on it. We’re going to have a blast supporting it next year. We’ve been writing and getting a new studio album ready. So we’re also going to have a new studio album out, probably by the end of next year.

New music from Bo, soon.   Yay.

    Oh Man – been waiting for some more Bo! The original rocker, Southern style :) hoping his live album is a barnburner… I will definitely be buying! Have missed him tremendously… his gutsy acapella of In a Dream will stand the test of time as one of the most compelling finale performances ever…. Welcome back Bo Bice – show ‘em how it’s done!

    Thanks for pointing that out again MJ. I love Bo Bice. He’s my favorite rocker from AI, sorry Cookies, lol.

    Every now and then I go back and revisit his journey via youtube, and am still blown away by him. His In A Dream was breathtaking, his For the Love of Money was just so much fun to watch. Time in A Bottle, bliss. Vehicle gets my booty shaking, he just worked with everything he had, his voice, his styling, his presense.

    I don’t begrudge Carrie the title, but Bo was it for me that season. I was posting on the Bolt site then, which previously was the official American Idol site and my friends sorta formed a little fangirl club called hos fo’ Bo! You had to be there I guess. Let’s just say, we still love him.
