Congratulations to Bo Bice, who just signed a publishing deal:

President Scott Simon of RPM Music Group announced today that they are signing Saguaro Road Records artist Bo Bice to a publishing deal. Bo began his career in music on the fourth season of American Idol, where he placed second to Carrie Underwood. Since then he has recorded three studio albums.

“I am proud to welcome such a soulful and talented singer songwriter as Bo Bice to the RPM family,” says Simon. “We value Bo’s great experience and creativity and both staff and writers look forward to the music they will be creating together.”

Congrats to Bo! Via Nashville.com

Congratulations, Bo! He’s already been doing some good writing with other Nashville songwriters and in addition to more networking, I look forward to seeing him score songs on other people’s albums.

Good going, Bo. I have all of his albums, and I have been listening to “3″ alot. He’s very talented – too bad he was in Carrie’s year.

Yeah, Bo! His songs are well written and this might be his niche long term. Good for him and his family.

I like Bo Bice. His season was before I watched any of Idol, so I’ve gone back in history to find out about him. Being in Carrie’s year and his medical problems may have been initial problems for his career getting started, but good for him on moving past all that – and congrats on the publishing deal!

Whenever the judges talk about having “a moment” on the show, one of the greatest that’s ever been was Bo singing a cappella. He was my fave that season, and I wish him all the best!

Everytime I see Bo I want to take a pair of scissors and a razor. I think he’d look good cleaned up. His features seem to be nice. Though it’s hard to tell under the mountain man look. That look of his is so 70s -80s. He’s talented though
